Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Yang Qingmin, 33 years old, a worker of the second mining unit of Guandi mining area of Xishan mining bureau of Taiyuan city, Shanxi province, was persecuted to death on December 21, 2000. At 6 a.m. that day, Yang Qingmin finished work and returned home. After he'd been sleeping for two hours, personnel from the Guandi police station of the Wanbailin branch of the public security department came to his home and asked him to go with them, saying they wanted to question him about some of his fellow workers who were going to Beijing to appeal. Tang's wife initially did not take it seriously, because this kind of thing had happened several times before. At 2 or 3 p.m., several policemen came to Yang's home again and asked his wife if she had Dafa materials in her home. They told her that Yang Qingmin had escaped so they wanted to bring her to the police station.

On their way, they came across the director of the police station.
