Case Description:
Mr. Wu Jiahe, 63 years old, was a Dafa practitioner from Taiping Village, Boli County, Heilongjiang Province. In 1996, he began to practice in Falun Dafa. Many of his illnesses, for which no one had found a cure, disappeared. Around November 12, 1999, his elder and younger daughter, daughter-in-laws, and niece were arrested and detained at the local detention center because they practiced Falun Dafa. Since then, the police station and staff members from the brigade attempted to have him write the a guarantee statement. He refused. The harassment and threats continued. He worried about his children and became ill again. On December 29, he passed away.
