Wang Huimin - 王惠敏
(Minghui.org) Ms. Wang Huimin was a Falun Gong practitioner in Yingkou City, Liaoning Province. Her heart condition, frozen shoulder, bone spurs and other illnesses disappeared after she began practicing Falun Gong in June 1999.
She was arrested on October 20, 2004 and sent to a local detention center, where she was injected with unknown drugs. She experienced great discomfort afterwards and vomited. She was then transferred to Division 8 in the Liaoning Women’s Prison to serve a six-year term.
Ms. Wang was abused during her imprisonment. She was often beaten and stripped naked to be poured cold water all over. The guards and inmates kicked and punched her and used various objects, such as shoes and broomsticks, to beat her. They once pushed her to the ground on purpose, causing her head to hit the cement floor. They also forced her to watch videos slandering Falun Gong and forbad her from purchasing daily necessities or food. She was restricted access to the bathroom and deprived of sleep. The guards also shocked her mouth and neck with electric batons.
The years-long torture took a toll on her health. She developed breast cancer after she was released on October 8, 2011. She died in July 2014. She was 69.
