Lin Shizeng - 林世曾
(Minghui.org) Mr. Lin Shizeng was the former Principal of the Hebei Province Technology Quality Control School, which later became part of Hebei University.
He was teaching a class on the first day of school on February 16, 2003 when a group of officers showed up and arrested him. His home was ransacked that afternoon with all his Falun Gong books confiscated. His wife was so traumatized that she became mentally disoriented.
Mr. Lin was not allowed to sleep for three straight days. He was later held at Baoding City Detention Center for more than seven months. He was forced to do unpaid labor for long periods of time. He was never given enough time to finish his meals and was often physically and verbally abused.
Mr. Lin was arrested again in November 2006 while visiting his relatives in Beijing. He was sent to Balizhuang Labor Camp in Baoding City and wasn't released until around October 2008. For a period of time he had hullucinations but returned to normal after doing Falun Gong exercises.
The local police, street committee, and Hebei University kept monitoring and harassing him. They ordered him to report to police on every sensitive date. He once said to a colleague that he was shallowed wherever he went and that he and his family lived in fear.
He died on July 20, 2017. He was 75.
