Case Description:
(Minghui.org) Ms. Li Xiaoqiong was a retired employee of Anyue County Agriculture Bank in Sichuan Province. She was arrested in 2001 for going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. Her local police took her back and sent her to Anyue Mental Hospital, where she was injected and provided food laced with unknown drugs. Half a year later, she was given one year of forced labor at Nanmusi Labor Camp.
After she was released, she faced constant harassment from her bank, police and local street committee. She was detained two more times, first in 2007 and then in 2010.
She died on July 16, 2019. She was 79.
