Case Description:
Ms. Hao Guixiang, 61 years old, was from Daqingjia Village, Daqingjiao Town of Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. She suffered from many illnesses before practicing Falun Gong, but after taking up the practice in 1996, Ms. Hao became healthy. On January 1, 2000, she was illegally detained and persecuted for over 20 days by the Daqingjia Town government for practicing the Falun Gong exercises. Ms. Hao died on April 23, 2001.
