Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City
Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Xiuhua from Beijing died as a result of torture at the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City, Hebei Province. She died on July 15, 2005. The authorities from the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City tortured Wang Xiuhua until she was at the brink of death. They then demanded that her family take her home on June 22, 2005. By then Wang Xiuhua exhibited symptoms of severe damage to the nervous system: blank stare, inability to speak or to urinate, immobility and loss of feeling in the lower body. Her family rushed her to a hospital but she could not be revived. Ms. Wang died in the hospital three weeks after being released from the labor camp.
