Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhao Tingyun from Xinxiang City, Henan Province died on the ninth day of being in police custody. On January 6, 2006, Zhao Tingyun went to the home of practitioner Li Beiping near the Hongqi Hospital in Xinxiang City. Police officers who were staking out Li Beiping's home illegally arrested Ms. Zhao and put her in custody. She held a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was savagely force-fed. She died on the ninth day of detention. The police reported that Ms. Zhao died around 5:00 a.m. on January 15.
