Guanshan Forced Labor Camp
Case Description:
Mr. Chen Yong, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dalian City Development District, was unlawfully sentenced to 3 years of labor "reeducation" by the Development District's Public Security Bureau in mid 2000. After being jailed in Dalian Forced Labor Camp for more than one year, he still held firm to his belief in Falun Gong, and was transferred to Guanshan Forced Labor Camp for further persecution along with some other determined practitioners. Here, he was tortured to death on January 30, 2002.
