Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Mr. Shang Guangshenlived in Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province.
He was kidnapped and sent to a brainwashing class in early 2002 by the PoZhaoyuan Countylitics and Security Division of Zhaoyuan County Police Department. His health declined drastically there as a result of brutal torture. He began to foam at the mouth and later, to spit blood. He was on the verge of death, yet the police still wouldn't release him. Shang Guangshen was not released until his work unit and people who accompanied him signed several forms guaranteeing Mr. Shang would not go to Beijing again to appeal. Three days after he returned home, Shang Guangshen passed away.
