Case Description:
Liu Fuse, female, 67, was a retired worker living in Shenzhou City, Hebei Province. She was detained in 1999 for insisting on practicing Falun Gong. She managed to escape from the brainwashing center in 2000 and was forced to become homeless to avoid illegal arrest by the police and the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems]. She was persecuted to death in July 2001.
