Case Description:
Ms. Cao Guidan, in her sixties, was an employee of Lanzhou City Earthquake Bureau. In 2002, she was arrested and taken to the Gaolanshan Brainwashing Center in Chengguan District, and transferred to Gongjiawan Brainwashing Center later. During custody, she was brutallty tortured. As a result, she develoepd incontinence of faeces and urine, and could not take care of herself. She passed away on November 19, 2008 at home.
