Xindian Labor Camp in Taiyuan City
Case Description:
Li Huiwen, 32 years old, was a doctor at the Yangquan Mineral Bureau in Shanxi Province. He lived at No. 8 in Unit 2, Bldg 15, Guanxiangtai, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. Li Huiwen obtained the Fa in Taiyuan City in 1996 and persisted in Dafa practice. Fifty days after he got married, thugs from Yuangquan City Police Department and the city "610 Office"* tricked him to a brainwashing class to persecute him. Li Huiwen refused to give up Dafa practice and was brutally tortured. He was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor. On February 26, 2003, he was tortured to death at the Xindian Labor Camp in Taiyuan City.
