Case Description:
Mr. Wei Xingzhi, 48, chemistry teacher at Ziyun County No. 2 High School, was the subject of multiple arrests for remaining steadfast in his belief in Falun Gong. He was given a three-year forced labor term on January 20, 2002, and held in Zhongba Forced Labor Camp where he was forced to do slave labor and exposed to toxic substances. He suffered from headache, chest pain, and coughing up blood. After his release, local police and 610 Office agents monitored, followed and intimidated him. He died on December 3, 2009.
