Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Limei, 41, was an associate professor at Northeastern Agricultural University. After the persecution began on July 20, 1999, she was arrested many times because she firmly validated Dafa. She was detained at different places, including Wanjia Labor Camp and Wanjia Hospital. She went on hunger strikes many times and was severely tortured. On August 12, 2003, she was tortured to death at a detention center.
