Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Yutong lived in Biangang Village, Dehui City. Police abducted him while he was publicly clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and sent him to the Yinmahe Labor Camp for two years of forced labor. Sources report that Li Yutong held a hunger strike at the labor camp to protest his detention, and was tortured until he was near death. On November 2, the Yinmahe Labor Camp officials notified Li Yutong's family to pick him up. When they arrived, Li's family became aware that he could no longer recognize people and his mouth was bruised from force-feeding. His family sent him to a hospital for emergency treatment. The doctor diagnosed kidney failure, and five days' emergency treatment failed to revive him. Li Yutong passed away at 1:30 p.m. on November 6, 2003.
