Su Xiaoping - 苏小平(肖平)
(Minghui.org) Ms. Su Xiaoping, 54, was reported to the police on August 13, 2012, for speaking with people about Falun Gong near the Shangwen Reservoir in Dongzhen Town, Xinyi City, Guangdong Province. She was arrested by officers from the Xinyi 610 Office and taken to the Xinyi Drug Rehabilitation Center to serve a 15-day detention. Fifteen days later, on August 28, Ms. Su was released and returned home. Officers from the Xinyi 610 Office went to her home that same day and tried to force Ms. Su to admit her guilt and sign some forms. She refused, so the officers then forcibly took her to the Maoming City Brainwashing Center.
Ms. Su developed urinary incontinence in the brainwashing center, becoming swollen all over and unable to walk. The Xinyi 610 Office notified her family on September 26, 2012, to come take her home. Ms. Su could not eat anything at the time. She was foaming at the mouth and had a rash and red patches on her back.
Ms. Su died on October 7, 2012.
In order to shift responsibility, the Xinyi City Political and Legal Affairs Committee ordered the Xinyi Publicity Committee to hang two banners that slandered Falun Gong in Taojinwan, West Jinhu Road.
