Case Description:
(Minghui.org) Mr. Zheng Hongchang, a Falun Gong practitioner from Dezhou City, Shandong Province, died at 3:00 a.m. on April 21 2013, at Xinkang Prison (also called Jinan Police Hospital) at the age of only 37.
Mr. Zheng was moved from the Psych Ward on the fourth floor to Room No. 12 on the second floor on September 29, 2012, according to personnel on duty. Mr. Zheng was near death at the time and could only move his eyes. The authorities still cuffed his hands and legs to the bed. He was fed liquids twice a day and given intravenous fluids.
The intravenous fluids kept Mr. Zheng hydrated, according to personnel, but that was all. Mr. Zheng weighed only 55 lbs.
