The purpose of writing this article is to expose and hopefully stop the evil done to Falun Gong practitioners by a group of vicious local people. The universe does have its heavenly principles. Those bad people will have to suffer retribution for their wrong doings; they are the ones to really be pitied. However, we want to warn everyone of their vicious conduct. Everyone who reads this must judge for themselves.

We live in a small, very scenic, historic county town. It is in this small town, in this 21^st century, that such cruel and horrible suppression against Falun Gong practitioners is taking place.

In July 2000, the county and township officials and party leaders convened an urgent meeting. Following the so-called instructions from a few leaders in the central and provincial government, they arbitrarily detained Falun Gong practitioners in a small hotel near the county town and staged a so-called "transformation education class." In the class, for over two weeks, they persecuted and detained Falun Gong practitioners in the most evil and cruel manner. They relentlessly tortured the practitioners for 15 days and nights. The inhumane and cruel abuses caused great harm to both the practitioners' minds and bodies. Following is a list of the coercive measures taken and "educational" methods that were employed in the class, which fully testified to the cruelty and moral degeneration of these officials.

1. Coercive measures taken, which were in fact violent tortures:

1. Standing on a single brick. They forced the practitioners to stand on the brick for several hours, prohibiting them to move, step down, or lean against the wall. Any disobedience would result in striking, cuffing or kicking. Standing this way caused the legs to become numb and lose consciousness.
2. Kneeling down on the broom handle. They forced the practitioners to kneel down on hardwood broom handles until the knees became numb and lost consciousness. The practitioners were prohibited to move or stand up; otherwise, they would be cuffed and kicked.
3. Pricking the back with electric needles. The villains took a common sewing needle and connect it to electricity. Then they ordered the practitioners to face a wall and used the electric needle to severely prick their backs. The practitioners were tortured half to death and bore inhuman sufferings.
4. Shocking with the electric baton. Electric batons were used to shock the practitioners on their faces and arms and all over their bodies. The sparks flew in all directions. The most cruel and inhumane torture was to insert the electric baton into practitioners' open mouths. As a result of the electric shock, their bodies were covered with bruises and scars. To this day, their injuries have not healed.
5. Sun torture. Beginning at noon, during the hot summer days with temperatures around 37-38 ⁰C (98.6-100.4 ⁰F), the practitioners were forced to stay in the sun for several hours. Those villains used this evil and despicable means of torture on the practitioners.

Besides the tortures described above, they would beat and kick the practitioners as often and as freely as they had daily meals. The sufferings that were experienced by two practitioners were brought to light. Their stories will further inform the world the crimes committed by these villains.

The sufferings of one female practitioner

Four to five leaders, including the vice-secretary and the town officials, beat her with broom handles. She was forced to kneel down on a broom handle and stand on a brick while her hands were cuffed. She was shocked with electric batons. They beat and kicked her face, head, and belly. She painfully rolled on the ground until she lost consciousness. Then they would wake her up by pouring cold water onto her head and then the beating was resumed. They did not stop until they were tired. This female practitioner did not regain consciousness until long after she was brought back to her room. In the class, this female practitioner had experienced all of the five tortures described above.

The sufferings of a male practitioner

Once the practitioner was brought into the information desk room, he was cuffed and kicked by about a dozen people. He writhed on the ground in agony and his body was covered with bruises and injuries. One of the villains said, "Tie him up and put him into a separate room." The practitioner was then tied up and brought to that different room. They went into the room to beat him up once again. These were the sufferings he had to endure before he was even brought into the class. In the class, he suffered all those tortures described above by the female practitioner. In addition, for 24 hours he was prohibited from going to sleep. He was further ordered to stand on a brick for a long time. He as well as all other practitioners were given only two meals each day consisting of gruel and steamed corn bread. No one was given enough food to satisfy their hunger. On top of that, everyone had to pay the town 60 Yuan per day for the meals. Practitioners had to get permission to use the toilet and had to be accompanied by an official. The practitioners were forbidden to drink water.

From the stories about the sufferings told by the two practitioners, it must become clear to you that the so-called education class was in fact a place for torturing used specifically for the persecution of good people, and a place of committing crimes in broad daylight. It was a vicious and evil "education class"!!

Every practitioner had startling sufferings in this class. The evil persons not only tortured the practitioners' bodies, but also tried to corrupt their minds. The remarks made by each and every party leader were shocking. The following section is the "educational remarks" made by party leaders.

1. Remarks to male practitioner: "Why did you want to be good persons in this society that does not need good people? Is there anyone who does not want to make a fortune? Is there anyone who does not loot? And is there anyone who does not take bribes? Isn't this the reason why people want to be government officials, to be able to make a fortune, take bribes and loot? Otherwise, who want to be officials? You good people a group of fools!"
2. Remarks to female practitioners: "Look at those 'entertaining girls' the prostitutes. They could make more than 1,000 Yuan in a day... What do you gain by being a good person?"

The leaders here have become so corrupt and degenerated. The top leaders of the country however, do not care about that and show no interest in the party leaders' deeds, and order them to re-educate and transform Falun Gong practitioners by torturing them. This can really lead to the ruin of our party and country. Aren't these human dregs, who so cruelly suppress Dafa practitioners, afraid of retribution? The law of the universe is impartial. Those villains have to repay what they owe when it is due. The evil persons are ruining themselves by committing the crimes. We believe that all kind-hearted people can differentiate between good and evil.
