Since those accomplices headed by Jiang Zemin started to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners, many kind-hearted citizens have awakened from their denial. After the validation of Falun Dafa story by Shenzhou Dafa practitioners was published on the Internet, the ruffians on the police force have been detaining practitioners and ransacking their houses without reason throughout the city. This has become intolerable to the public.
Case 1: On the afternoon of Nov. 1, Shenzhou Public Security Bureau Assistant Director Chen Xuejie, Policy, Security Bureau Director Shang Yunhang and some of their subordinates appeared suddenly to inspect a "Falun Dafa learning class". They confiscated a large quantity of Falun Dafa books and other materials. Two policemen tried to grab practitioner Ms. Sun Yanen's books but failed. Shang Yunhang forcibly pushed Sun Yanen inside the office and knocked her down to her knees on the floor. In the process, he twisted and hurt Sun's right arm. Practitioner Yang Kuizhe was summoned to the police station and ordered to hand-copy a newspaper. Yang firmly refused, so the police beat him cruelly. His nose and face were all bruised and swollen. He was tortured until midnight before he was returned to the "Learning class". Meanwhile, a 20- year-old practitioner jumped over the fence and escaped because he would not tolerate the extended detainment and brutal persecution. He does not want to be captured by those evil people. He has not yet returned to his home.

Case 2: Around 8 pm on November 1, 2000, Shenzhou Political Legislative Office director Niu Wenhai, who has been responsible for numerous incidences of persecution since the crackdown began, accompanied by two policemen, came unexpectedly and searched Sun Guoen's house. They were intimidated by the righteous comments of Sun's wife, Song Xianying, and his daughter, Sun Li, who is also a practitioner. This made Niu Wenhai feel uncomfortable so he took Song Xianying to the police station. Immediately, Shang Yunhang returned to Sun's house together with more policemen. They seized all Falun Dafa related material such as pictures, tapes and other materials, and took Sun Guoen and Sun Li to the police station. The police interrogated them until 11 pm before releasing them. Song Xianying has still not been released and is being tortured.

Case 3: On November 2, 2000, Shenzhou City and Mucun Village local and city police joined together. They appeared suddenly and searched Dafa practitioner Zheng Nianjie's house and seized some Dafa materials. Zheng and some other practitioners are now detained at the Shenzhou detention center. His wife, Gao Junlian, was sentenced to 3 years in a Labor Camp because she went to Beijing to appeal in December of 1999. She is now in the 4th women's Labor Camp (number 8 Langaoji Street, Shijiazhuang) and has been cruelly tortured. Her teenage daughter is left alone at home and is quite upset.
Case 4: Gao Wei, a 27-year-old Dafa practitioner and assistant secretary in the Shenzhou Wangjing Legislative Department, and Zhao Zhiguang, a 35- year-old technician, went to Beijing to appeal on October 26, 2000. They were both dismissed from their jobs and their Communist Party memberships. They are being held in the detention center and will be sent to a Labor Camp. Their rights as citizens, granted by the Chinese constitution, have thus been annihilated.
Case 5: On November 2, 2000, the Director of the Agriculture Department at Shenzhou Hospital dismissed Dafa practitioners Li Zhaozhong, a hospital employee, and Liu Fuse, a member of the Agriculture Department, from their posts for a period of two years. This was because both practitioners went to Beijing to appeal. The police have illegally followed, put under surveillance, searched, and threatened Li's 70-year-old mother. This seriously disturbs Li's mother's life and she cannot sleep properly.
Remark: The Shenzhou city "Falun Dafa study group", where practitioners are "transformed" is located in the old health department office. This is also the location for the special office set up to direct the crackdown on Falun Dafa practitioners in the area, termed "610" because these special offices were set up on 6/10/1999.

Case 6: Zhang Yu (nickname), a Dafa practitioner, has recently been a victim of the local police extortionists. They deceitfully said to Zhang Yu, "They have given us a penalty for you. If you do not pay us 5000 Yuan (about ten months' salary for an average worker in Chinese cities) in cash, we will take you to police station." Zhang Yu refused and since then the police have constantly harassed him.
Case 7: Yang Huilin and Zhao Fuyi, Dafa practitioners from Matun Village, Shenzhou City, Bingcao County, were expelled from the Communist Party.
