On April 27, four Falun Gong practitioners, as invited by Harvard University, gave a presentation on the Introduction to the Persecution against Falun Gong in China" in an auditorium of Harvard Divinity School.
The presentation was arranged by the distinguished Professor David Little of the Harvard Divinity School. Professor Little first read to the audience parts of the Annual Human Rights Report of US State Department, which described the crackdown on Falun Gong by the Chinese government. Then, a Harvard alumnus (Falun Gong practitioner) introduced to the audience the traditional culture of Chinese Qigong and Falun Gong. Another western practitioner shared his experiences in Falun Dafa cultivation practice as a scholar of western religion. One Falun Gong practitioner, a physician who has been practicing both the western and the Chinese medicine for many years, explained to the audience the evident curative effects of Falun Gong in healing illnesses and keeping fit. In addition, one practitioner presented the facts documented in terms of the extent of the persecution against Falun Gong taking place in the People's Republic of China. After that, practitioners showed a documentary video, answered questions from the audience, and demonstrated Falun Gong exercises.
This presentation enabled the attendees to gain a better understanding of the truth of Falun Gong and its persecution suffered in China.
