Practitioner Zhao Ming, male, 30 years old, a graduate student from the Department of Computer Science at the Trinity University in Ireland, went back to China last Christmas to visit his family. On January 6 of this year, he was arrested when appealing at the State Council's office of Appeal. Later his family bailed him out. However, the police suspended his passport, and the only way to get it back is for him to write a pledge promising that he will never oppose the Chinese anti-Falun Gong Policy. Mr. Zhao Ming has insisted on not writing the pledge. Without a passport, he cannot return to Ireland to finish his study. The local Irish Times has already written a report on him.
