On the morning of the January 22, several practitioners were invited to talk on a local TV station about the persecution of Falun Dafa in China. The show lasted about 10 minutes. Most of us practised exercise 1 and 5, while a Chinese practitioner talked to one of the hosts about the persecution.
After they had discussed the situation in China, an Irish practitioner spoke about the benefits he had gained from Falun DaFa, while the rest of us practised peacefully in the background.
I felt peaceful when doing the exercises, and some of the staff at the station commented on how peaceful we looked. This gave us a good opportunity to HongFa with staff.
One of the ladies who met us initially said she might come to one of the group sessions. Others were more than willing to accept a Falun Gong newspaper.
Even though we show was only on air for 10 minutes, and was shown at 7.30am, I still felt we did very well. This is the first time we had held an event like this in Ireland. I think that there will be many more to come.
