December 26 is traditionally the "Boxing Day" in Canada. On this day most major department stores offer great sales to attract customers. People come out to enjoy the fun of holiday shopping. To fully take advantage of this opportunity, 14 Dafa practitioners (including 3 children) from the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo made various color signs and banners. The signs read, "China: Stop Persecution of Canadian Citizen Professor Zhang," "Canadian Jailed In China Because Of His Faith In Zhen, Shan, Ren," "Please Extend Your Help To Canadian Citizen Jailed In China For Practicing Falun Gong," "Falun Dafa, Zhen-Shan-Ren," etc. We selected the busiest intersection located in front of the largest local shopping mall. Standing next to the signal lights, each of us carried a sign and cordially showed the truth about Falun Dafa to people passing by.
The emergence of Dafa profoundly attracted many, many people. During these two hours of our standing and sign posting, countless cars passed by slowly. The eyes of many passengers lingered on our signs. Some smiled at us. Some nodded at us. Some honked at us to show their support. Some of their faces showed care and sympathy. Some gave a "thumbs up" sign or showed the sign of "V." There were those who saluted to us, as well as those who rolled down their windows to inquire and talk with us.
