On October 16, 2001, the city council of Clifton, New Jersey, unanimously passed a resolution that protests the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Advocate Congressman Tatarenko called the persecution "the trampling of the standard of all people's faith and freedom in the world."
On October 10, 2001, the international consultant of Paris City government wrote a letter to the Falun Dafa Association in France, saying the mayor of Paris will stand by all people in the world who fight for the cause of respect for human rights.

Practitioners in Los Angeles went to the airport as well as every tourist site to clarify the truth to the Chinese tourist groups and received very good results. RIGHTEOUS THOUGHTS AND RIGHTEOUS ACTS
One Dafa practitioner resolutely refused to cooperate with the evil after being taken to the police station and completely negated the arrangement of the evil forces. Finally, he walked out of the police station safely by his steadfast righteous thoughts.
On October 1, 2001, a Dafa practitioner went to Tiananmen Square and held up a banner in front of many tourists calling out his heartfelt wishes that he had been hiding in his heart for a long time, "Falun Dafa is good." After he was arrested, he walked out of the den of monsters by virtue of his righteous thoughts.
Seven Falun Dafa practitioners from Guangdong province (the eldest is 62 years old and the youngest is 10 years old) went to Tiananmen Square on October 21 to validate Dafa. They called out loudly to the crowds of people, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Falun Dafa is righteous!" Later, they all came back safely.
One Dafa practitioner went to Tiananmen Square with the sacred and great mission to validate Dafa. On his way to Tiananmen Square, he continuously called out, "Falun Dafa is good!" "Falun Dafa is righteous!" realizing his oath taken thousands of years ago.
On October 19, a Falun Gong practitioner from a city in the Northeastern part of China resolutely went to Beijing. On October 20, he called out from the bottom of his heart on Tiananmen Square, "Falun Dafa is good," then hung a banner on the trees outside of the east wall and left without incident.
LATEST NEWS FROM CHINA
In a city in the northwest, a practitioner and her daughter put up small yellow Falun Gong banners around an exhibition that slandered Dafa. Six Dafa disciples openly hung a Dafa banner on a bridge during the day. Two Dafa disciples took Dafa banners from their homes and shouted while walking outside: "Falun Dafa is good." People passing by stopped to watch this marvelous act.
On September 6, over 100 Dafa banners were hung on the trees along the two sides of a railroad track in a province in the south. On the yellow cloth, the red characters said: "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," and "Falun Dafa is Good" etc. It looked quite magnificent.
Recently, in a city in Hebei province, banners such as: "Falun Dafa is Good" and "The Propaganda on TV against Dafa is all Fabricated" could be seen everywhere along the roads and lanes. Residents also received the materials of the truth about Dafa and started to see through the lies made by the government.
A young man who sells bean curd peeled off posters that were taped along the road and taped them to his chest. On one side of his chest it says: "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." On the other side it says: "Restore the Reputation of Our Master." He then went through the streets to sell bean curd.
One primary school student in a county in the northeast saw a Falun Gong banner. He took it down to put it around his body and walked while shouting, "Falun Dafa is Good." Students behind joined him. They passed the truth to more people.
The organization and the vicious people who persecuted Han Shengli, a Falun Gong practitioner in Shandong province, to death were exposed. We hope righteous people make phone calls to condemn them.
On September 11, six policemen from Gaochengshan Police Station in Wanli County of the Dalian City Development Zone arrested a Falun Gong practitioner and her husband who does not practice Falun Gong. They said that they would release them only if the couple handed in 100,000 Yuan RMB.
Two male Falun Gong practitioners were bound to their beds by vicious policemen at Wujiabaozi Labor Camp at Fushun City, Liaoning province. They were stabbed with needles for a day until they could not walk. The head of the labor camp, Huang Wei, was promoted and made a good fortune by mistreating Falun Gong practitioners.
On September 14, vicious policemen from Baicheng City in Jilin Province broke into the home of a Falun Gong practitioner's sister and arrested the sister and her husband, who are not Falun Gong practitioners. The elderly people that are over 80 years old and the young children now have no one to take care of them. The Baicheng government also broadcasted on TV a 5,000 Yuan reward for the arrest of Falun Gong practitioners.
On July 5, the vicious people in Sichuan province arrested 15 Falun Gong practitioners and started to torture them. They treated the practitioners as "money machines" and forced each to hand in 5,000 Yuan. The policemen would release them only if the practitioners handed in the money. Those who did not have money would be sentenced.
One hundred and four Practitioners in China sent in solemn declarations stating to the world that what they said under duress is null and void, and that they would work much harder to clarify the truth and expose the evil of Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan's group.
Hewan Labor Camp in Wuhan City, Hubei Province secretly sent Falun Gong practitioners to do forced labor. Besides mental tortures, practitioners were also forced to do heavy labor for a long time. Their fingers and nails were all deformed, and one person's nails fell off their fingers. The cruelty is too horrible to look at.
The 610 Office (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) was established at the First Military Medicine University to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. One practitioner was sent to the mental hospital for torture twice. Liu Weidong, the head of the Security Department at this university, said in public that if he were sent abroad to deal with Falun Gong, he would murder the practitioners.
The Wanjia Labor Camp tortures Falun Gong practitioners with medicine and injections of psychotropic drugs. As a result, some practitioners can no longer speak coherently and answer questions clearly.
GOOD IS REWARDED WITH GOOD AND EVIL MEETS WITH EVIL
Xu Binjun is the Vice Party Secretary in Zhengding County, Hebei Province heading the persecution of Falun Gong in that area. His father was hit by a car and killed. A car that the police department bought with money extorted from Falun Gong practitioners exploded and burst into flames. The father of Party Secretary Sun Wanyong died of a sudden illness. Recently most of the people in the Politics and Security Section in the county involved in the persecution have been afflicted by various illnesses.
The town magistrate of Xingchengju Township in Fuyu County, Jilin Province suffered injuries to his leg in a car accident. He reflected afterwards, "I have done too many bad things to Falun Gong practitioners. I will not do anything in the future even if I receive orders from higher authorities to persecute them."
The Beijing evening paper reported on October 20, 2001 that an archeology team in Hebei Province has discovered 800 pieces of stone artifacts and animal bones apparently left behind from ancient human beings' having a meal in the Majuangou region, Nihe Valley, Yangyuan County. It was reported that the artifacts were over 2 million years old.
CLARIFYING THE TRUTH OVERSEAS
According to the BBC, China agreed in principle to let an investigator from the United Nations look into allegations of torture carried out by police and prison officials. Beijing had routinely rejected human rights criticism as interference in its domestic affairs in the past.
An Irish practitioner revealed how Jiang Zemin's regime persecuted her family. The Chinese embassy has refused to extend her passport, and her two sisters are illegally detained at a labor camp. Her younger brother was severely beaten, and her mother died partly due to the emotional trauma from having her children persecuted to this extent.
An American practitioner who does not speak English very well has spread the stories of practitioners at the nursing home where she works. Her boss and colleagues often drive her to practice the Falun Gong exercises and appeal in front of Chinese Embassy.
After attending the SOS parade in Brussels and a large-scale group practice in Gent, European practitioners went on to introduce Falun Gong and clarify the truth in major cities in Belgium.

Japanese practitioners practiced the exercises and studied the books of Falun Gong in Ueno Park. They also exposed the evil conduct of Jiang Zemin's regime during the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
According to FGM TV, a female practitioner was tortured to death by policemen in Qian'an County, Hebei Province on February 22, 2001. Her body was covered with cuts and bruises. The eyelashes of her left eye and eyebrow had been plucked out. Her nose looked like it had been burnt.

An American practitioner started practicing Falun Gong after hearing about the persecution conducted by the Chinese government and often introduces Falun Gong to her friends, relatives, and colleagues.
We will discuss Dr. Wang's experiences on the "Falun Gong Time" radio program. He used to do research at Harvard Medical School. Practicing Falun Gong helped him recover from muscle atrophy.
An elderly lady in her 80's supports Falun Dafa and believes in the principle of "good meeting with good." After practicing Falun Gong, she has become completely healthy. A 78-year-old man had a dream in which he learned Falun Gong. When he woke up, the illness in his brain was cured.
