A female practitioner from Shenzhen, was arrested for distributing truth-clarifying literature, and her family members went to the police station to have her released. A director said, "Nobody dares to release her. Beijing 610 Office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over the political and judiciary branches and each level of administration in the Party] has just held a meeting and told us to put aside homicide cases and handle the Falun Gong cases first."

It is said that Liaoning 610 Office and Law and Political Committee ordered their subordinates to hold a brainwashing class specifically for those "clear-minded" Dafa practitioners who were released from Masanjia Labor Camp and those whom they regard as important, which is a total of over 300 practitioners. We hope practitioners will send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate and firmly refuse to cooperate with the evil.

Sources says that the evil force in Chengdu, has been ordered to strengthen the forces of the plain-clothes policemen and guard against laid off workers, pro-democracy advocates and Falun Gong practitioners protesting and distributing materials. Please be careful.

Mingming, (pseudonym) is a fourth grade student in school. His mom has been in a labor camp for over one year now because of practicing Falun Dafa. His Dad was also forced into homelessness. Only he himself is left at home. Sometimes his grandma (also a Dafa practitioner) comes to see him. One night, at 7 pm Mingming, went outside alone to post truth-clarifying materials to save people. When he posted the materials onto a police watchtower, a police officer saw him so he handcuffed the boy and brought him to the police station.

When the police inquired about the source of the materials, they hypocritically opened his handcuffs and asked Mingming to cooperate with them. After their attempts failed, police escorted him back to search the house. They confiscated some truth-clarifying flyers and VCD disks. After returning to the police station they questioned him again about the source of the materials and they would not let him make any phone calls. Mingming, did not cooperate with the evil; the policemen threatened him "You will be old enough to be sent to a labor camp next year."

Mingming was detained in the police station for the whole night with two policemen watching him. The next morning, the police called Mingming's school. The principal and the teachers all tried to persuade Mingming to give up practicing Dafa, but Mingming said, "I will insist on practicing Falun Dafa even if I am expelled." The principal and teachers could do nothing but merely told him not to post Dafa materials during the National Day period. So Mingming, went back to school again.

Dafa practitioner Tao Ye, male, 30 years old, previously was the teaching director and the school head of a primary school in Chaoyang District in Changchun City. In March 2001, he was illegally sent to Changchun Xinglongshan brainwashing class. He went on a hunger strike to protest his detention and was later sent to Weizigou Labor Camp illegally. Recently, when the labor camp broadcast videos that slandered Dafa , Tao stood up and spoke loudly, "All these are false and are fabricated. Falun Dafa, is a righteous Fa!" Instantly, several guards pressed him down to the ground, punched and kicked him, and threw him into a small cell. The small cell is dark, wet and dirty. People can neither stand up straight nor squat down. The guards even kept torturing him. This torture has lasted for over one month now. His family is forbidden to see him.

The director of the Education Section in Weizigou Labor Camp, Zhao Shijie, has even said to the public shamelessly, "We never beat and abuse Falun Gong practitioners." But Dafa practitioner Han Yuzhu, was tortured to death in this labor camp; Wu Yueping, a Ph.D. advisor in the Department of Politics, Jilin University and a Dafa practitioner, is detained here and has been on hunger strike for many days. His family and many of his students in both China and overseas can testify to this.

Li Guogang, a Dafa practitioner from the Pulp Workshop in Jingcheng Paper Produce Company was sent to Labor Camp for one year by the Linhai Police, Jingcheng Sub-station on February 8. He went back to the company to work after he was released on March 8, 2001.

On September 6, 2001, at 10 am when Li was working, vicious policemen Li Donghong and Xiao Fucheng, cheated him into going to Jingcheng Police Sub-station and detained him there. He is still in detention now.

Guizhou Female Labor Camp persecutes Dafa practitioners and has committed numerous crimes. The guards pressure practitioners to renounce Teacher and Dafa, forcing them to write "guarantee letters" every day. If practitioners refuse, guards will torture them cruelly. We hope Dafa practitioners will send forth righteous thoughts and eliminate the evil.

Wang Shougui, a Dafa practitioner from Liupanshui Railway Section was arrested on November 9 2000 while he distributed Dafa materials. A policeman beat him badly and broke two of his ribs, causing him to fall unconscious for four hours. Now Wang has been illegally sentenced to four years of Labor "Reeducation."

Wei Wei, a student and a Dafa practitioner in Dalian City, was arrested by the evil force. He used OICQ to contact a policeman who pretended to be a fellow practitioner.

Wei, was arrested when he met with this fake practitioner after making an appointment with him.

Since the National Day is closing, Daqing "610" Office asked the local police to monitor the phone lines of those "key" Falun Gong practitioners; "610" office [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over the political and judiciary branches and each level of administration in the Party] also ordered each work unit to watch the practitioners who work at their businesses to prevent them from going to Beijing to appeal. Daqing Tax Bureau hired two security staff to monitor a husband and wife team of practitioners 24 hours a day and paid them with 70 Yuan each day (the average income in China urban area is 500 Yuan per month). Some work units even dispatched staff to practitioners' houses, forcibly eating and living at their homes so that they could monitor them 24 hours a day. Some work units have started to monitor practitioners' phone lines 24 hours a day since September 20.

Recently the 610 Office of Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, illegally removed the practitioners from Qishan County, Baoji County, Mei County, Fufeng County, etc. and detained them in various brainwashing classes in unknown locations in Shikanhe and Jinhe Villages, Baoji County.

In the brainwashing classes, the practitioners were tortured because of their firm belief in Dafa. They were sealed off from the outside world, not allowed to communicate with anybody, relatives cannot pay visits, restriction on food and water, etc. The practitioners also had to endure dozens of hours of interrogation, brainwashing and writing essays on the brainwashing. The practitioners were tormented physically, and mentally. This is simply one more case of Baoji City 610 Office's illegal persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners.

Accounts of the Mei County judicial system's tyrannical persecution of Dafa practitioners are numerous: their policy is to infinitely detain practitioners, blackmail their family members for ransom and arrest practitioners that have been driven from their homes.

Recently the persecution was escalated by sending the illegally detained and arrested practitioners to a labor camp in Baoji Jinhe for brainwashing classes.

Practitioner Liu Shulan was suspected of Hongfa activities and was forcefully taken from her home and sent to a detention center to be tortured. While in the detention center, Liu Shulan refused to eat and drink and was determined to resist the cruelty. On the seventh day the wicked guards released Liu Shulan, but they ransomed 3,000 Yuan from Liu's husband secretly (the average monthly pay for an urban worker is 500 Yuan RMB).

Practitioners Gao Guiling, Sun Guimin and a female practitioner named Luo from Daan City, Jilin Province, were taken away from their homes and forcefully sent to brainwashing classes for torturing. The three practitioners were determined to suppress the evils and refused to eat or drink. Practitioner Sun Guimin said to the three brainwashers from the province, "We are all innocent people, we don't need you to lecture us. Do you want to transform us into bad people? Please go away!" Realizing the rock solid determination of the practitioners the vicious guards did not even try to change their minds. All three practitioners were released on the seventh day. They used their righteous thoughts to resist the evil's plans to brainwash them.

1) Luo Yuanying, is female, 42 years old, a cashier. In 2000, this practitioner was illegally detained in Jiangan District 610 Office's brainwashing class in Huangpi, Wuhan City, for 5 months. In November of 2000, she was arrested because she was making banners in a practitioner's house. They locked her in Dongxihu Detention Center, Wuhan City. She couldn't see any sunlight in the cell, the air was foul and unventilated, and it was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. About 10 prisoners were locked up in an 18 square-meter room. They had to eat and defecate inside this room, and the smell was extremely disgusting inside. Water was often withheld, and sometimes food, too.

Because this practitioner was very firm and didn't give in, the guards didn't allow any family visits for 10 months, they even took away the 100 Yuan RMB that her family gave her. In February 2001, the warden Liu Lili saw Luo Yuanying practicing and cuffed her two hands to iron bars, making her stand there for 7 days. In March 2001, Luo Yuanying was practicing while she was let out for exercise and to relieve herself and was found out. Liu Lili cuffed her to the iron bars again, and told Luo that she would let her go only after Luo apologized for practicing; otherwise she would cuff her there indefinitely. On the third day, the section head came to visit, and asked Luo why was she cuffed. Luo Yuanying said because she practiced. The section head said, "Don't you know that we don't allow practicing here? If you apologize to Warden Liu, I'll ask her to let you go." Luo Yuanying said, "I have not committed any crime, why should I apologize? It's you who are wrong. What we practice is the Law of the Universe, but you decided to persecute us. You are committing crimes." Because she was determined not to apologize, they cuffed her for another 7 days, and then continued to cuff her with her hands in front of her. It had become warmer by that time, and the other prisoners were just wearing cotton shirts, but because she was cuffed she couldn't take off her coat. They didn't release her to eat nor for using the washroom. In order to function, she needed the help of other practitioners. Her legs were swollen from the cuffing, and her two hands were ice-cold. She couldn't eat anything and couldn't speak. By this time she had been cuffed for a month. It is not known what her condition is right now.

2) Chen Zhiqiang, a 41 year old bank clerk, and Dong Danping, 40 year old, tariff chief, are a married couple. On the morning of March 6, 2001, the police of Wansongyuan, Jianghan District forcefully kidnapped Chen Zhiqiang, saying that he hung a Dafa banner. They also arrested Dong Danping from the same work unit. During the arrest the wicked guards kicked Chen Zhiqiang's chest with hard-leather boots four times. When Dong Danping saw him that afternoon, Chen was holding his chest with his hands, back bent, and he couldn't sit down. He kept pacing around and could not stop coughing. A month later they were transferred to Jianghan District's brainwashing class. Chen Zhiqiang was locked in the brainwashing class for 20 days, and without given any reason they sent him to Hewan Labor Camp for a year. Dong Danping practiced and didn't recite the prison's rules, the warden Liu Lili forced her to stand and didn't let her sleep. Later the work unit and the family was extorted a total of 30,000 Yuan as "payment" and more than 1,000 Yuan for "living expenses" before they let her go. When she got back home, in July the work unit suspended her Party membership, and transferred her to a far away work unit.

Chen Zhiqiang was forced to perform tasks in the labor camp, and they forced him to walk for 6 hours everyday. They then took three hours every night to "talk" with him in order to prevent him from sleeping, thus making him extremely tired. After the family pleaded numerous times they finally let them visit him. When they saw him he was in an extremely deteriorated state. It had only been two months, but his weight decreased from 165 pound to only 110 pounds.

September 6, 2001, the police illegally kidnapped practitioner Liu Bao of Sanchahe Town, Fuyu County, Jilin Province, and stole his motorbike. They beat him to the point where he needed the support of two people to walk. But the greedy police department still insisted on extorting money from his family. Right now Liu Bao is hospitalized.
