Today, 146 people solemnly declared that everything harmful to Dafa they had done under evil persecution was invalid. They stated that they were determined in their cultivation and completely opposed to everything arranged by the evil old forces. They acknowledged they would work harder to compensate the loss caused to Dafa and catch up with the Fa-rectification process.
A practitioner who had been detained in the Masanjia Labor Camp revealed the inside story about how the camp covered up its atrocities. Whenever reporters came for an interview, the authorities of the camp hid the practitioners who would probably stand up and clarify the truth; they only let the people who enlightened along an evil path perform before reporters.
Another 16 cases regarding illegal detention, brutal torture, and extortion of Falun Gong practitioners in Shuangcheng, Heilongjiang Province was exposed today.
Evil police officers of the Second Detention Center in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province used cruel implements to torture Falun Gong practitioners. They used a rubber pipe known as the "Little White Dragon," to brutally beat practitioners, cuffed and hung them up, and bound them to the "dead man's board" [The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. This cruel torture can last from several hours to more than a dozen days; it causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically-translator]. Another vicious treatment was to shackle practitioners with 30-kilogram weight fetters so that they had to maintain a half kneeling, half sitting position. Torture of Falun Gong practitioners has reached barbaric extremes.
In Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province, many practitioners have been sentenced to jail. In the Jianhua District alone there were ten people who were illegally sentenced; some of the sentences were as long as twelve years.
Another five cases were revealed today that involved kidnapping, brutal beatings, and extortion of Falun Gong practitioners in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
Retribution Cases
Wang Mingzhang, Ren Wanxi, and Cao Dongzi, vicious policemen from Shulin Town's police station, Nong'an County, Jilin Province received evil retribution after persecuting Dafa practitioners. On November 13, two of the three died in a car accident on their way to Daqing City. Cao Dongzi suffered two broken legs in this accident.
Zhang Haibo, resident of Shulin Town in Nong'an County used a loudspeaker to slander Dafa. In the fall of 1999 he got into an accident with a car when he was out on his motorcycle. Two of his front teeth were knocked out. Later on he claimed: "I received evil retribution after I slandered Dafa."
Zhang Yaozhong, the president of Yangshulin Town's Central School in Nong'an County has used all kinds of ways to persecute practitioners. He was recently expelled from the Party membership, had his paycheck reduced by one level and was ordered to make restitution of official money, tens of thousands of Yuan, he took for personal use.
Cao Yazhan, vice party secretary of Yangshulin Town, Nong'an County has beaten practitioners many times. Now he was demoted, kept from going to work and all his governing rights were taken away.
Jiang Ximing, the clerk of Yangshulin Town's police station in Nong'an County has been actively participating in the persecution of practitioners. He was hospitalized for a heart attack. His life hangs by a string.
Song Wen, the secretary of the Gongnong Street administrative office in Shuangcheng City of Heilongjiang Province committed wrong deeds, arresting and extorting money from practitioners. He received evil retribution after the Spring Festival this year, suffering from appendicitis, and had to retire after surgery.
Yan Shanli, assistant leader of Cheng Town in Shuangcheng City of Heilongjiang Province often beats practitioners. He received evil retributions. He suffered hand pain twice right after beating practitioners, which prevented him from going to work. He took the excuses that this pain is caused by household chores, to avoid it being known as evil retribution.
Xu Shouting, worker in the No.1 Machine Factory in Harbin City of Heilongjiang Province not only quit practicing Falun Gong after July 22, 1999, but also slandered Falun Gong. Now he is suffering from throat cancer.
The secretary and the militia head of a town in Yongji County, Jilin Province used a rented van and cheated and illegally sent 5 practitioners to a detention center for over 3 months. Shortly after that, the secretary died of lung cancer. The militia head was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle. The motorcycle was demolished and he was injured. The rented van also was involved in a car accident.
Yitong is an autonomous county of Man nationality in Jilin Province. The ex-secretary of the County Party Committee, Cheng Changzhu was enthusiastically involved in the persecution of practitioners. He was up for reelection, but lost. When he left office, many people lit firecrackers to celebrate. His brother-in-law was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
The ex-director of the Judiciary Section in Yitong County, Zhang Chunbo was in charge of the examination and approval of sending practitioners to labor camps. He is now being examined himself and very likely to be sentenced to prison.
The ex-director of Grain Purchase & Storage Co. and head of the Land Bureau in Yitong County Ren Yi, relentlessly persecuted practitioners. He is now being investigated. He has run away to escape penalty.
A management official in a school was organizing students to have "Anti-Falun Gong" speeches. Soon he had an accident in which he lost two front teeth and had two cuts in his upper lip. Even the non-practitioners in his work place said that he received retribution for slandering Falun Dafa.
Stories in Cultivation Practice
A practitioner who left his home and wandered about was later held in a brainwashing class. Sending forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, he broke the chain on the door with his bare hands. Then he walked through four doors and got out of the brainwashing class, again joining the Fa-rectification process by clarifying the truth to more people.
A practitioner in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province was deceived into going to the police station. He persuaded the policemen to forsake evil conduct and support good people. At the same time, he sent forth righteous thoughts for them to reveal the name of the person who reported him. A day later, he calmly walked out of the police station in the daytime without being stopped.
One day in November of 2001, a practitioner was arrested for printing truth-clarifying literature of Falun Gong. He sent forth righteous thoughts and used wisdom to escape easily from the instrument of torture that he was tied to. He opened the door and walked away from the custodial center.
My experience: I was arrested on October 10 while I was rectifying the Fa at Tiananmen Square. I was taken to the Mapo Police Station of Shunyi District in Beijing. I was savagely tortured. The policeman shocked me all over my body with an electric baton, put a chair on me and sat on it to crush me, poured cold water on me, and scraped me with a bamboo brush. When I reached the point where all I had left was my breath, they let me go because they did not want me to die there.
A legend was circulating in the Town of Gaoliu in Qingzhou City that one day a "crazy" old man came to the Tangjia Village section of town. Nobody paid any attention to him except for one family who showed him kindness. The old man told them to leave the village as soon as possible to avoid the fire. It turned out that immediately after the family left, the whole village was destroyed in a fire.
Summary of Overseas News
Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan and their followers are conducting international terrorism: The Chinese Embassy in Singapore held an exhibition to slander Falun Gong. They lied shamelessly to defame practitioners and to poison the minds of innocent people. This exhibit was interfering with the Singaporean people's freedom of religion. The embassy hired people to attend the exhibition because it had very few visitors. Local practitioners went there to do truth-clarification.
A jail in Taizhung City in Taiwan arranged to have over a hundred prisoners study Falun Gong.
The World Daily reported on November 15th that four practitioners walked from Montreal to New York City, a distance of 750 miles, to submit their petition to the United Nation to stop China from persecuting Falun Gong.
Practitioners in Japan wrote a letter to the Chinese ambassador to Japan, to urge him to stop Jiang Zemin's regime from further killing practitioners, and from committing other terrorist acts.
On November 8, Christine Loftus, a Canadian college student, began her four-day walk of 150 miles, the sole purpose of which was to tell people this one sentence: "Falun Dafa is wonderful."
