A California Library Spreads the Truth of Falun Dafa

March 4, 2001 |   Practitioners in California

The City of Fremont in California is located in the east bay area of San Francisco, approximately 15 miles north of San Jose. In February of this year, the local practitioners created an exhibition in a glass-fronted display case in the city's public library to promote Falun Dafa and clarify the true facts to the people. It achieved a very good effect.

The exhibit included colorful banners and pictures the practitioners made by hand, the books of Falun Dafa, and the proclamations given to Falun Dafa from nearby cities. The exhibition made full use of the photographs, depicting the history and beginning of Falun Dafa in China, the evil persecution of the practitioners, and the support from conscientious people worldwide. The billboard exhibition happened to be near the checkout counter of the library, where the readers waiting in queue could take time to enjoy. Frequently Chinese visitors to the library passed by, and were amazed by the exhibition. In addition, practitioners put a plastic basket carrying flyers outside the billboard and they added flyers to it as necessary. We learned that all libraries have glass display cases of various sizes, which can be reserved by any non-profit and non-political organization for to use as free exhibitions. Usually such an exhibition lasts for a month. More will be held in nearby cities.
