April 5, 2001 |   German Data practitioners

While the 57th International Human Rights Meeting is going on in Geneva, the Falun Dafa Information Center in Germany held a press conference in Berlin on March 29. Falun Gong practitioners introduced the latest human rights report, which was over 600 pages and covered more than 3,000 cases. Besides clarifying the truth of Falun Gong, the practitioners also showed the videotape that analyzes the facts of the self-immolation incident, which the journalists asked questions about. The press conference invited two practitioners who had been persecuted in China. Their experiences of being detained, tortured and sent to labor camps in China attracted deep attention among the journalists, who asked them many questions about the details of their persecution. Having known the truth, the journalists gained a much better understanding of Jiang Zemin and his group's human rights violation and their damage to society. After the conference, some journalists conducted lengthy interviews with practitioners, while others kept on talking with the practitioners. The conference ended in a harmonious atmosphere.
