June 18, 2001

On the afternoon of June 16, 2001, practitioners in Montreal joined fellow practitioners around the world to send forth righteous thoughts together. The two previous days had been the hottest days of the year, not to mention it was quite humid.

On that day, the heat was still present. About an hour prior to the Fa-rectification activity, thunderclouds rolled in and there was a thundershower and some lightning. It then stopped.

The first time we sent forth righteous thoughts, the rain started again mid-way through.

The second time, the dark clouds were boiling in the sky. When we sat down to clear our thoughts, a very heavy rainstorm immediately began, combined with extremely powerful thunder and lightning. When we raised our hands in front of our chests, an intense hailstorm began simultaneously. Practitioners held the position for 5 minutes. Afterwards, we switched to the Big Lotus Flower Hand Sign, and then the hailstorm ended. After another 5 minutes, the storm had completely abated.

The intense heat was broken that day, and all that remained of the storm was an overcast sky of dispersed grayish clouds.
