Dear [name omitted],
I join you, along with many other elected officials and citizens around the United States, in condemning the brutality and repression exhibited by the Chinese government. We must continue to call on China to end the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners at once, and to increase awareness and condemnation of these acts worldwide.
I would like to commend you and all of the Falun Gong practitioners gathered here today at the State Capitol to increase public awareness of the persecution of those who practice Falun Gong in China. Your dedication to the restoration of human rights in China and to the principles of Falun Gong are an inspiration.
I am struck, too, by the commitment of those traveling the length of this country in support of the practice of Falun Gong. I look forward to seeing the culmination of their efforts in Washington DC on July 20, and to seeing a swift end to the brutality taking place in China.
Sincerely,
State Representative Frank Weddig

Dear Dr. [name omitted]:
Thank you for your recent correspondence concerning Falun Gong, and the update on the events surrounding "Falun Dafa Day" here in Colorado.
I have a great concern for the people of China who are unable to practice their faith freely. I believe that religious freedom is a fundamental human right, and the [party name omitted] government of China should be condemned for their continued oppression of citizens who choose to worship.
Please extend my best wishes to those participating in motorcade to Washington DC. I admire your courageous efforts on behalf of the citizens of China.
Best regards.
Rep. Rob Fairbank
