7/14/01(Falun Dafa Information Center) On July 7, the News program of a local TV station in Anhui Province showed a group of Falun Gong practitioners, mostly women, in chains. The news anchor of the program announced that their treatment was in accordance with the suppressive policy from the leadership against "Stubborn Falun Gong People." Approximately several hundred thousand people in the area saw the program.
According to a news source, this program was ordered by officials from Suixi County government. The news editor of the program was Hou Liangli and the anchor was Qiu Yanli. The Falun Gong practitioners in the program include Yu Yizhi, Liu Chao, Zhu Pengfei, Li Yan (Female), Qi Suling (Female), Niu Xuefang (Female), Chen Xueqin (Female), etc.
Suixi County publicly showed Falun Gong practitioners in chains while the world is still in shock by the news that 15 Falun Gong practitioners were tortured to death in Heilongjiang Province. This indicates that the Jiang Zemin Regime has no restraint in its brutal persecution against Falun Gong.
The Chinese government has circulated internal documents to persecute Falun Gong with the policy of "Defame their social reputation, cut off their financial income, and eliminate them physically."
Sources also indicated that among the practitioners who appeared on the TV News program in Suixi, many had exceeded their original jail terms by several months.
