It was the fifth day after leaving the City of Waterloo. All of us were tired from the days before, and our feet and legs were sore. Everyone developed blisters from walking, but we still believed that we were going to make it to our destination successfully.

At the beginning of the day, the sun was heating up the earth. We walked through Oakville down a nearly empty road. When we neared a group of strike workers they misunderstood us about what we were doing, but afterwards when we explained to them who we were and the brutal persecution in China, their reaction was a thumbs-up.

We encountered a tribulation afterwards. We missed a street sign and consequently got lost, so we decided to walk down the road to a major intersection to ask someone. Then when we arrived at that intersection we checked the map and realized that we were going the right way after all! A funny thing was that when we went the wrong way one of the practitioner's legs would hurt, and then as soon as we reached the right road the pain would go away. From this we could see how Master Li was helping us along the way, and steering us to the right directions.

At lunchtime we stopped to eat, and some practitioners from other cities over 100 kilometers away brought us some lunch and beverages. We felt touched by their kindness.

Along the way we passed out newspapers to the people on the road. They felt sympathy for the practitioners that are tortured in labour camps and detention centers in China. They hoped that the Chinese government would stop the inhuman persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. They also gave us words of encouragement, and wished us good luck.

Once when we stopped at a restaurant we met two ladies. They told us that they were against the Chinese propaganda about Falun Gong, and said that they read all about Falun Gong in a newspaper. We felt very happy that they had much knowledge about Falun Gong. They gave us confidence, and uplifted our spirits.

We passed through Mississauga and entered Toronto. Many people stopped by to look at our banners, and honked in support. Even a Chinese driver honked at us, and we were able to hand out the fliers to some Chinese to clarify the truth.

Today's journey was successful because the road as well as the weather cooperated with us throughout the day.

In the days to come we shall continue to do as Master Li had instructed, "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, and spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence."
