Australia Broadcasting Station Reports Flooding in Gansu Province, China
(Clearwisdom.net) Australia Broadcasting Station News reported that on July 26, 2001, at least 30 people died and 16 people were missing due to flooding caused by a storm in the mountain areas of Gansu province, in northeast China.
According to the Chinese official media report, the swift and violent flood ruined a group of business buildings and residences. Many people were injured.
The local and the province officials have already started to organize people to provide disaster relief, sending tents, blankets and warm clothes.
