July 29, 2001 is Falun Dafa Day in Ashfield, Sydney. After finishing sending forth righteous thoughts at the Chinese consulate, practitioners in Sydney went to Ashfield Park to celebrate Ashfield Falun Dafa Day.
Ashfield is called the second Chinatown. Practitioners brought many Dafa materials to give to the local residents. Three city councilors attended this activity. City councilor Dr. Emma Brooks Maher and Dr. Lamber Carter gave speeches.
Eleven year-old Tim, who participated in the SOS walk from Sydney to Canberra, shared his experience of the walk. A visiting practitioner from mainland China explained the current persecution situation in China.
