Jiang Turns China's Youth Violent, Reminiscent of the Red Guard in the Cultural Revolution

Aug. 7, 2001

On Sunday August 5th, outside the Chinese Embassy in Australia, a group of junior high school students from Beijing cut up one of the peaceful appeal banners set up opposite the Embassy. The students were careful to cut the banner while practitioners were distracted by other students pretending to be interested in learning the truth. These young people with blank stares and dead eyes cannot know how they will have to pay for their actions in the future.

After vandalizing the banners, the busload of students went to the Canberra practice site and surrounded a practitioner teaching a newcomer the fifth exercise. The students circled and surrounded like hyenas; one of the young girls viciously swore and loudly slandered Falun Dafa with mindless Chinese propaganda. While we feel sorry for these lives, we must have no mercy in eliminating the evil that controls them. It seemed as though there was no humanity left in these children.

One of the female Western practitioners stood up and told the students to leave, walking towards them with righteous thoughts. The students quickly dispersed and headed back to the bus. I called the police, who arrived at the practice site and took down the stories of the practitioners at the Embassy and at the practice site.

While we offer all sentient beings salvation with benevolence, we must also safeguard the Fa with determination. Actions such as these should be pursued through the legal means available, and practitioners should not calmly accept vandalism, damage to private property, or having their practice site unlawfully interrupted.

If we remain calm and continue to use righteous thoughts, remembering to preserve the dignity of Dafa, we are sure to be able to deal with these situations well.
