At 9:30 a.m. on January 12, Boston Dafa practitioners gathered in a small park next to the decorated archway in Chinatown. Two banners reading "Jiang Zemin, Stop Killing Falun Gong Practitioners!" and "Falun Gong Practitioners Safeguard Dafa while Risking Their Lives" were clearly visible from far away. The practitioners set up truth-clarifying posters and started group practice. Some of them handed out flyers to passers-by and exposed Jiang Zemin regime's brutal crimes of killing 20 Dafa practitioners during the last 22 days. We urged all kind-hearted people to call the culprits in China and condemn the persecution and atrocity. We also showed videos and handed out literature in Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese and English to help people come to understand the greatness and compassion of Dafa and Dafa practitioners.
Press conference
At about 11:30 a.m., over ten practitioners were divided into five groups and walked to five directions in the surrounding area of Chinatown for a four-hour walk and truth-clarifying activity. The practitioners carried posters reading "China, Stop Killing Falun Gong Practitioners!" "22 Days, (Jiang's Regime) 20 People Killed" in English and distributed flyers along the route to recount the atrocities that occurred during the last 22 days in China and the Jiang regime's brutal persecution against millions of Falun Gong practitioners during the past 30 months. After hearing the atrocity, a Westerner (not a practitioner) was filled with indignation and immediately called the numbers of a murderer in China listed on the flyer to condemn the evil deeds.
A few Western practitioners came forward to distribute flyers in two of the largest Chinese supermarkets. Their kind-hearts and smiles rectified the environment and nearly one thousand flyers were handed out.
Clarifying the truth in Chinatown
Before 4:00 p.m. all practitioners returned to the small park and sent forth righteous thoughts along with practitioners worldwide. The practitioners also lit candles to express their respect and commemoration of the practitioners tortured to death in China.
