Scottish practitioners demonstrated peacefully outside three locations in the city during the minister's visit on January 18th. They proclaimed out loud "Falun Dafa is good!" in Chinese to the minister and his entourage. This felt very powerful, particularly at the museum where the officials came out of their cars just a few steps away from the practitioners. The British official in charge of security came over to thank practitioners for their orderly and peaceful protest, and took an SOS leaflet to read later. Police officers said they had experience of watching over Falun Gong protests before, and knew we were good people and understood and supported our appeal.
We were able to show the minister responsible for foreign affairs that Falun Gong is practiced worldwide and that when he visits a foreign country like Scotland, practitioners are determined to use their freedom to express the truth about Falun Dafa and call for an end to the persecution.
