1. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] The Life of Jiamusi City Practitioner Li Dejiang is in Imminent Danger

Falun Dafa practitioner Li Dejiang, a 28-year-old civil engineer, is from a residential complex in the Tiefen District of Jiamusi City. Li Dejiang is being illegally held at the Yuyao City Detention Center, in Heilongjiang Province. Due to the extensive torture he has suffered there, his life is in imminent danger.

2. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Weng Yinchu and Other Hangzhou City Practitioners Were Deceived Into a Brainwashing Center

Weng Yinchu and other Falun Dafa practitioners from Hangzhou City were deceived into being taken to a brainwashing center at around noon on September 26, 2002. The brainwashing center is located in the Dongming Temple Forest Park, on Dongming Mountain, near Yuyao City. It has been learned that many Falun Dafa practitioners are being held in custody there.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Numerous Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested in the Rang District of Daqing City Since September

Falun Dafa practitioner Zu Xihua, who works on the railroad in the Rang District, was arrested in early September 2002.

Falun Dafa practitioners Su Hu'an (male) and Lu Jianhua (female), who work at the Daqing Research Institute, were arrested at their homes in early September 2002. The police said their names were on a list that was issued from a higher authority.

On September 5, 2002, Falun Dafa practitioner Xu Fenglan, from Dongfeng Residential Village in Daqing City was arrested while telling people on a bus the facts of Falun Gong. Recently, she was illegally sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp.

On September 6, 2002, a female practitioner with the last name of Li, who works in the No.3 Mine at the No.6 Oil Refinery in Daqing City, was abducted from home for no apparent reason.

Male Falun Dafa practitioners Jin Xiujun, and He Huahui, are employees of the No.6 Oil Refinery. Jin Xiujun was abducted at work, and his home was later ransacked. He Huahui was also arrested at work, viciously beaten, and his home was also ransacked. He's son, a junior high school student who was too ill to care for himself, was taken to the police station with his father, but released the following day. Since then, the child has had surgery but there is no one to take care of him, since his parents are divorced.

Falun Dafa practitioner Li Zikuan, an employee of the No.6 Oil Refinery, was at home on September 27, 2002, when plainclothes police officers from the Xi District Police Department got him to open the door by lying to him. He was then taken to the police station and his home was ransacked. Currently, Li Zikuan, Jin Xiujun and He Huahui are all being illegally held at the Daqing Longfeng Detention Center.

On October 11, 2002, the Honggang District Court, in Daqing City, illegally tried Falun Dafa practitioner Du Chunxiang.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners from the Longquanyi District Were Abducted to a Brainwashing Center

On September 27, 2002, the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], the Police Department and police stations in the Longquanyi District of Chengdu City sent out a large number of officers to illegally place several Falun Dafa practitioners under arrest. These practitioners were forcibly sent to a brainwashing center. So far, it is known that the following practitioners have been abducted: Luodai Middle School teacher Yuan Bin, Damian Middle School teacher Huang Yan and Xihe Middle School teacher He Youming. Also, the following female practitioners were abducted: 63-year-old retired teacher Zhu Dezhen, Ai Zhouyu from Longquan Township, Wang Juping from Shiling area, Ding Shuqing from Luodai Town and others. The accurate number of practitioners and the exact location of the brainwashing center are still unknown.

So far, the police have denied the family members access to visit the practitioners. Clothing and all other items had to be brought to the "610 Office" for forwarding.

5. [Liangzhong City, Sichuan Province] Married Couple Peng Suzhen and Li Linhan Sentenced to a Forced Labor Camp Again

When Liangzhong City Falun Dafa practitioners Peng Suzhen and her husband, Li Linhan, were released from the forced labor camp in June and July 2000, they went to tell the facts of Falun Gong to the mother of Liangzhong City Police Chief Peng Tianjun, who was bed-ridden with illness. The couple was trying to let her know the truth of Falun Gong, in hopes that she would persuade her son to stop persecuting Falun Gong. However, Chief Peng's mother not only ignored them, but she even asked her house maid to eavesdrop on the couple, and to inform the police about what she heard them say. On August 29, 2002, Li Linhan and Peng Suzhen were illegally taken away and their home was ransacked. It is learned that they have again been sentenced to a forced labor camp.

6. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] "Security Administrators" in Chengdu City Are a Threat to Kindhearted Residents

Some officials in Chengdu City have been recruiting "security administrators" and sending them out to inspect all areas. It has been advertised that 2000 Yuan in cash will be awarded for information that leads to the arrest of each Falun Dafa practitioner. [The average monthly salary of an urban worker is about 500 Yuan.] In the Shuangnan District alone, there have been five Falun Dafa practitioners placed under arrest during the National Day season, which is around October 1.

7. [Sichuan Province] Officials at the Sichuan Industrial Institute Broadcast Lies to Teachers and Students

Near the end of September 2002, some officials at the Sichuan Industrial Institute repeatedly spread lies to the teachers and students through campus broadcasts. The president of the institute has the surname of Luo. The zipcode is 610039, and the telephone numbers are 86-28-87720679 and 86-28-87720678.

8. [Beijing] Beware of the Deceptions of the Beijing Police Stations and Neighborhood Committees

Many police stations and residential committees in Beijing have taken orders from the "610 Office" and called Falun Dafa practitioners or their family members into their offices. They asked everyone to check items on a preprinted form to express their opinions. They claimed that no signatures were needed, and that anonymous checks alone would be sufficient. In some cases, even family members of practitioners were allowed to fill out the forms for the practitioners. The intention was to keep track of what practitioners were thinking. Some people thought that since no signatures were required, they would simply fill out the forms to avoid further harassment. Most practitioners, however, resisted with their strong, righteous thoughts this arrangement made by the old forces, and they refused to participate in the so-called "questionnaire."

9. [Northeastern China] A Good Laugh at a School in Northeastern China

Over the weekend, officials in a northeastern city coerced students into watching a movie that defamed Falun Dafa. A school director asked his students beforehand to submit written feedback after viewing the movie. One Falun Dafa practitioner went to explain the facts of Falun Gong to the director. The next day, the director began a speech over the public address system, "Yesterday, we watched [such and such a movie] (referring to the slanderous film)...." Students in the classes could not help but laugh, since that slanderous movie had not been shown at all. Instead, a different movie had been shown, and it turned out that the director had never gone to watch the movie himself.

10. [Hunan Province] Practitioners in Hunan Province Warmly Congratulate the Registration and Establishment of the Falun Gong Association in Japan

The registration and establishment of the Falun Gong Association in Japan has shocked the evil old forces. The evil forces have become even more feeble and frantic when nearing their demise, while the Falun Dafa practitioners have become increasingly rational, matured and determined. Let us all, practitioners as a whole, embrace the rectification of the human world by the Fa, with an even steadier pace.

The Beijing Science and Education Film Production Factory produced this film, which is full of lies attacking the Buddha Fa and Falun Gong.

The top half looked like a huge magpie that was sometimes circling and sometimes diving. It was a magnificent scene.

The image turned blurry around 7:30 p.m. and gradually disappeared.
