[Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Mr. Xing Jiaqiu is Illegally Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
Because of his practice of Falun Gong, Mr. Xing Jiaqiu, 27 years old, a Falun Gong practitioner from Gangtun Town, Lianshan District of Huludao City, Liaoning Province, had lived in exile for over one year. Persons from Gangtun Town's Police Precinct frequently tried to arrest him, and on May 28, 2002, police from Gangtun Town's Police Precinct illegally arrested him and beat him up. After being mistreated with excruciating tortures, he was detained at a detention center. In July 2002, he was secretly sentenced to 6 years in prison. At noon of August 27, he and another practitioner, Mr. Ma Yucheng, were sent to Jingzhou City's Nanshan Jail.
[Baoding City, Hebei Province] Successive Arrest of Nine Homeless Dafa Practitioners
Recently, lawless policemen successively arrested nine homeless Dafa practitioners in Baoding City, Hebei Province. Seven of these Dafa practitioners' houses were ransacked and six Dafa practitioners were taken from their homes. Baoding City's No.2 Police Team detained some of them.
After Dafa practitioners made use of a TV cable signal to clarify the truth in Beijing City and Hebei Province, more and more people learned the truth of Falun Gong. The evil was displaying its last insanity. They dispatched army, policemen and special agents to patrol all streets in Baoding City as well as setting roadblocks and unreasonably searching vehicles and passers-by.
[Liaoning Province] Persecution Facts in Liaoning Province's Female Jail
Many Dafa practitioners are illegally detained at Liaoning Province's Female Jail and most of them are over 50 years old. They are forced to work over 15 hours a day. If some urgent work comes in, they have to work overnight. Guards also forcibly brainwashed them. Dafa practitioners had to go on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Every day, Dafa practitioners are sent to the jail hospital for force-feeding. The guards did not allow them to study the Fa, practice the exercises and talk with others. Two prisoners are assigned to monitor one Dafa practitioner around the clock, even when using the bathroom. If practitioners insist on practicing the exercises, they would be locked up in a small cell.
[Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Dafa Practitioner Wang Hongting Walks out of Jail with Righteous Thoughts
On July 30, lawless policemen from Suizhong County arrested Mr. Wang Hongting, a Dafa practitioner from Huludao City, Liaoning Province, when he went shopping and put him into a detention center. Mr. Wang went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. On August 8, he walked out of the evil den with righteous thoughts.
[Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Brutal Torture of Dafa Practitioners in Deyang City's Forced Labor Camp
From July 2002, Deyang City's Forced Labor Camp in Sichuan Province gathered all Dafa practitioners being illegally detained and set up a brainwashing class. Under the burning sun, with the temperature as high as 104 oF to 122 oF (between 40 -- 50 deg. C), Dafa practitioners were forced to run several hundred laps around the playground every day. The determined Dafa practitioners were forced to run more circles, and any Dafa practitioners who protested the persecution would be brutally beaten. Some Dafa practitioners' legs were injured and some practitioners lost consciousness due to brutal torture. Some were locked up in small cells. Dafa practitioners were not allowed to talk with each other. Prisoners were ordered to watch Dafa practitioners. Lawless police even threatened practitioners that if they do not give up the practice, their detention terms would be extended.
Under this long-term high pressure and brutal torture, some Dafa practitioners wrote some materials against their wills, which brought losses to Dafa. Now they announce that whatever they have said, have written and have done that didn't conform to Dafa is all invalid. They come back to the practice of cultivation and will firmly safeguard Dafa and follow Teacher to the last step.
[Daan City, Jilin Province] "610 Office" Relentlessly Arrests Practitioners
Since last March when Jiang's regime sent out the order to "kill without mercy," policemen from Daan City's "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] investigated thousands of local practitioners. Afterwards, they started to arrest the over 200 practitioners on their blacklist. Some practitioners were arrested, while the rest were forced to live in exile. The evil ruffians forced practitioners' relatives to sign the "Five Statements." [These statements renounce Falun Dafa, promise not to go to Beijing to appeal for Dafa, and promise not to associate with other Dafa practitioners] At the end of June, the ruffians gave a false report that their "transformation rate" was 100%. Before July 20, 2002, practitioners collectively stepped forward and hung over 160 banners along the streets in the city. Recently, practitioners again posted many truth-clarifying posters and banners in the city, which verified that Dafa is indestructible.
In September, ruffians started to relentlessly arrest practitioners. Around September 5 and 6, policemen broke into and ransacked practitioner Ms. Geng Jifan's home in Sheli Town when she was not at home. Then they arrested her at the school where she works and put her into Baicheng City's Detention Center for further persecution. The lawless policemen also arrested four other practitioners. They are Ms. Wang Guixiang, 63, Ms. Cai, 51, Mr. Wu Tonglin, 48 and Ms. Zhao. Right now practitioners Mr. Zhou Weiliang, 53, and Ms. Cheng Xiuhua, 60, are still held at Daan City's Detention Center.
Officials in Daan City's "610 Office" are planning to arrest 160 practitioners on their black list, or put them into a brainwashing class. From September 25 to October 1, there will be a raid on the whole city.
[Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Practitioners Zhu Fengying, Li Yi, Ning Bo
Recently, a Dafa truth-clarifying material center was destroyed. Practitioners Ms. Zhu Fengying, Mr. Li Yi and Mr. Ning Bo were successively arrested. Another practitioner who went to Mr. Ning's home was also arrested by policemen staked outside his home. Mr. Ning, who was arrested on September 18, was sent to Harbin City's Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
[Qiongshan City, Hainan Province] Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Zhong Zaolei
On August 23, 2002, lawless policemen detained practitioner Ms. Zhong Zaolei who works at Qiongshan City's Construction Supervision Division of Hainan Province. She was taken from her workplace without any legal process and put into a forced labor camp for brainwashing. According to witnesses, the persecutors were Wang Peijie from Qiongshan City's Political and Security Department, Feng Hui from the Fucheng Police Precinct of Qiongshan City and two other policemen.

On September 11, 2002, the Tuanjiexincun residential committee in Hefei City tricked practitioner Ms. Xie Hong, an employee at Hefei City's Construction Bank of Anhui Province, to go to the residential administrative office to register her child's birth information. Then policemen from Hefei City's Xishi Police Precinct put her into a brainwashing class at the Xinhua Hotel.
Before April 25, 2001, Ms. Xie had been sent to a brainwashing class when her child was only 4 months old. At that time, Ms. Xie's mother was detained at the detention center, and her father just had esophageal surgery. Later, Ms. Xie was illegally detained at a mental hospital.

Lawless officials in Wuxue City's "610 Office" and the No.1 Section of Wuxue City's Police Department began to show a fabricated film from September 17 at Wuxue Theatre. They ordered every director in charge of politics from every work unit to sign up for the film in the theater. They also forced every employee to watch the fabricated film.
On September 19, Dafa practitioners exposed the evil and clarified the truth at the theater, which frightened the lawless officials. Recently, the theater did not advertise for the film. Officials secretly coerced students in every school and employees in every work unit to watch the film.
[Wuhan City, Hebei Province] Policemen in Huangpi District Arrest Dafa Practitioners
On September 16, 2002, policemen from the Houhu Police Precinct arrested two practitioners from Huangpi District when the practitioners were clarifying the truth. The whereabouts of the arrested practitioners are unclear.
On September 17, 2002, policemen from some police precinct in Huangpi District arrested two practitioners who were clarifying the truth and ransacked the practitioners' houses. A practitioner's daughter who was less than 12 years old was left at home without care, and she cried for her mother everyday.
It is said that Huangpi Police Precinct's "610 Office" will hold a brainwashing class and attempt to detain 18 practitioners at the party school to brainwash them.
[Hefei City, Anhui Province] Political Rogues Force People to Watch a Film in "Cultural Revolution" Style
On the night of September 19, a film slandering Dafa was shown in a residential laneway near Hefei City's Mine Machinery Factory. Many policemen armed with electric batons forced people to watch the film. All the pupils had to watch it. It was claimed that this was a political order. Beforehand, the audience was not informed about what they would be shown. Therefore, some people felt that they had been deceived and left in the middle of the film. In addition, a program slandering Dafa is being prepared in Xishi District's Culture Center of Hefei City and will be shown at the evening party held by Anhui Province's Judiciary Department.
[Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Arrest of Practitioner Chen Guoyan and Jiang Guihong
On the afternoon of September 17, personnel in a security group reported practitioner Ms. Chen Guoyan to the Chang'an Police Precinct and she was arrested.
At 9:00 a.m. on September 18, lawless policemen from the Chang'an Police Precinct went to Ms. Jiang Guihong's house. As they could not open the door after they knocked on it, they climbed into her home through the roof and took her away. Her mother-in-law, 4-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter were left at home without care.
