In Rongchang County, nearly three months after practitioner Mr. Zhang Fangliang, former deputy head of the county was tortured to death, Dafa practitioners successfully installed three loudspeakers at the Hongqi Bridge, the Weather Station, and the Dongmengwai Iron Bridge. At around 6:30 a.m. on September 30, 2002, the loudspeakers at these three locations concurrently broadcast stories including "The Factual Case of Dafa Practitioner Zhang Fangliang's Torture Death," "The Truth Behind the Tiananmen Self-Immolation Incident" and "The Truth Behind the Beijing 'Bloody' Case." The broadcast lasted over three hours. It played an important role in clarifying the truth and offering salvation to sentient beings, also powerfully shocking, exposing and eliminating vicious factors.

On January 3, 2002, police arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying from the Xiaoquan Hotel in Chongqing City. On September 10, Li sternly exposed the persecution inflicted on Dafa practitioners during the open trial at Yuzhong's District Court and shocked the evil with a Dafa practitioner's mighty virtue.

On November 1, police informed Li Xiuying's mother to go to the hospital affiliated with the Maojiashan Forced Labor Camp, saying Li Xiuying was in need of a blood transfusion to revive her, and asked her mother to bring 2,000 Yuan to bail her out. Li Xiuying's mother sternly questioned the police, "You ruined a healthy person to this stage in less than two month. Li Xiuying was very healthy and vibrant at the court on September 10. My financial situation is very tough and I don't have money to hand over. Should anything happen to my daughter you cannot shirk your responsibility. Dafa practitioners are nice people! The laws of Heaven will not forgive you persecutors!"

It's said that since November 7, 2002, all Internet Cafes in Changchun City started to implement a so-called "Real Name Net Registration Rule." Visitors must use their identification card to apply for a net card, an electronic identification card. The server for all Internet Cafes in Changchun City have been hooked up to Changchun City's Police Department and transmit their online surfers' communication information to Section No. 4 of the Police Department. Consequently, net surfers don't have any privacy. Once the authorities determine there is something sensitive in the online communication, the web surfer's identification number will be recorded. Such measures are being taken to prevent the truth of Falun Gong from spreading over the net. At present, Changchun Police Department's obligatory measure of installing the "electronic identification cards" has caused a net traffic jam in all Internet Cafes from time to time. Complaints from Internet Cafe owners and visitors are heard everywhere.

During the 16^th National Party Congress, Changchun City started the so-called "tightly administrating crime" campaign. Two practitioners' names were on the illegal wanted list the police department had issued.

Many practitioners were arrested in the Linxia Area of Gansu Province before the 16^th National Party Congress. Mr. Jiao Yunlin was illegally detained at the Jishi Detention Center. Ms. Wang Caihua and Ms. He Shufang and Mr. Wang Wen were illegally detained at the Linxia Detention Center. Ms. Tao Fang was detained at Linxia County's Detention Center.

In order to achieve the quota assigned by upper level government authorities, the police from Jiamusi City's Forced Labor Camp in Heilongjiang Province applied experience from their criminal wrongdoings at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, dispatching male policemen to administer female teams. In order to force female practitioners to give up their belief, the policemen handcuffed determined practitioners behind their backs and tied them to the bed. They shocked practitioners with electric batons, whipped practitioners with leather belts and brutally punched and kicked them.

Those female practitioners being beaten include the Misses Yao Kai, Zhang Li'e, Lu Xiuqin, Yang Lijuan, Ma Cuihong, Feng Guifen, Shi Xiaocui, Fan Yiemei, Kang Aimin, and Tong Li.

Kind-hearted people of the world, please pay attention to this and help stop the inhumane persecution!

On November 4, 2002, a Dafa truth-clarifying materials center in the Qinglongchang area of Chengdu City was destroyed because of police tailing and stakeout. A lot of security people went and ransacked the house. Equipment for making truth-clarifying materials and cash were confiscated. Many finished materials were ransacked. The person who leased the house was arrested and has since been released. All the residents who were renting houses in the compound were forced to leave. The whereabouts of practitioners who worked there are unknown.

Recently, many practitioners were forcibly taken away in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. Some practitioners have been on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Recently, in Panshi City, Jilin City, Liuhe City and some other small cities and counties of Jilin Province, all underlying governmental organizations had to obey superiors' orders to keep all roads and avenues under 24-hour surveillance. Policemen even monitored the TV cables. Local people said, " It seems as if holding the 16^th National Party Congress amounts to facing a formidable enemy," but few seemed to take the job seriously. A strange phenomenon appeared: the thugs who were rampantly persecuting Dafa practitioners for the last two or three years ago have all become lazy.

On October 30, policemen of Section One of Wuhan City's Police Department forcibly broke into Dafa practitioner Mr. Shi Lei's home and illegally arrested Shi Lei and his wife, Ms. Liu Hong. They also illegally searched their house and even their store. These lawless policemen took away their computer, CD writer, Dafa materials and other items.

Beginning in November, officers at all police precincts had to work overtime. They used the excuse of "guaranteeing the security of the 16^th National Party Congress" to monitor, track and harass Dafa practitioners.

The day before the 16^th National Party Congress, in a town close to Chifeng City/Inner Mongolia AR, middle school students were forced to watch a Dafa-defaming film, which plunged deceived students into a terrible abyss.

Qin Yongjie, male, a teacher from Weifang City's Spinning Technique School, betrayed Dafa due to brutal brainwashing in the Changle Forced Labor Camp. He subsequently acted as an accomplice during his detention term in the forced labor camp, to assist the authorities to persecute Dafa practitioners. He even beat and forcibly brainwashed many Dafa practitioners, including his wife. Hee still does this kind of work in the brainwashing class, persecuting Dafa practitioners.

Ma Changling, female, and Wang Liping, female, were teachers of Weifang City's No. 11 Secondary School. After Ma had been brainwashed, she has acted as a long-time accessory in brainwashing classes to persecute Dafa and has abused practitioners. She is very vicious and searched for Dafa practitioners everywhere, to send them to brainwashing classes. She even cheated her parents to get them to go to a brainwashing class to watch a video that portrays abuse of Dafa.

Wang Zhen, female, Wang Haowen, Qi Jifang, female, and Guo Jing, female, are always acting as accessories after going astray, deceived into giving up their practice of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."
