(Clearwisdom.net) The Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong County, Sichuan Province is a place that Jiang's regime utilizes to persecute Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Police secretly have forced practitioners from different locations in Sichuan Province into the labor camp each day. When the practitioners arrived, some of them were barefoot, and the majority didn't have any clothes, daily necessities or bedding with them. Since the end of 1999, about 2000 practitioners have been persecuted in this labor camp.

The practitioners were first sent to the No. 5 Brigade where the police instigate drug addicts to strip off practitioners' clothes and search them in the light of day. Police instigate drug addicts to torture practitioners who do not yield by pulling their hair, plugging their mouths, tearing up their clothes, and punching and kicking them while holding their hands behind their backs. Uncooperative practitioners are then confined to solitary cells, while the others are put into ordinary cells.

In the solitary cells, each practitioner is assigned two or three drug addicts to strictly monitor them. The practitioner has to eat, live, and relieve himself in the cell and is not allowed to talk, sleep, walk, do the exercises, read the book or send forth righteous thoughts, entirely deprived of personal freedom. Practitioners also suffer physical and mental torment such as being forced to stand, sit on the ground, or stand on tip-toes for twenty hours a day, during which time they are not allowed to change positions, to lower their head or close their eyes. Police to use these methods in attempts to destroy Dafa practitioners' physical strength and to weaken their wills. Each day, when the practitioners have become tired and begun to lose mental alertness after the long hours of such torment, the police instruct previously brainwashed practitioners to attempt to brainwash the new arrivals with propaganda.

Police use electric batons to shock practitioners who have strong righteous thoughts and refuse to yield. They are scolded and beaten. Police often cuff practitioners to the frame of a window or in between the heads of two beds. Many develop edema in their legs, some have become delusional, and some develop scabies all over their bodies. As a means of torture, police arrange drug addicts to force-feed practitioners who hold hunger strikes. They handcuff the practitioners and use very vicious means to force food down their throats. During hunger strikes, some practitioners' teeth were broken off with pliers, some suffered serious mouth and throat wounds, etc. The cruel means used are too numerous to list. Police exhaust all sorts of means to torture practitioners and attempt to weaken their wills. However, no matter how desperately they try, they can never shake the righteous thoughts and righteous belief of a true practitioner.

Dafa practitioner Yang Qihui was illegally sentenced to forced labor and was sent to the No. 5 Brigade for the second time because she continued practicing Falun Dafa. She didn't cooperate with the police and held a hunger strike for several days, she was also tortured because she shouted, "Falun Dafa is good." Police punched and kicked her while tying her mouth with a strip of cloth, and taping her to a window. Afterwards, her arms and legs were cuffed to an iron bed for several days. She was allowed to only wear thin clothes, even during winter, and was not allowed to go to the washroom. She was force fed several times when police pried her mouth open with pliers. This injured her mouth and loosened her teeth. She fell into a state of delirium due to the cruel torture. The labor camp guards didn't send her to see the doctor in the labor camp until she was close to death. The doctor saw that she was in a critical condition and had her younger brother take her home.

Falun Dafa practitioner Gao Yan was a college student who was first illegally sentenced to a one-and-half year term of "re-education" through forced labor. She was cruelly tortured several times because she resisted the persecution. During two terms in the Nanmusi Female Forced Labor Camp, Yan was tortured so viciously that it made her eventually suffer a mental collapse. Her case is unique, as it has also happened in other Brigades.

Dafa practitioner Wu Shicui of No. 8 Brigade was beaten by seven or eight prisoners who were arranged to monitor her because she didn't cooperate with the police and recited the formulas for sending forth righteous thoughts. The thugs covered her mouth and pulled her into an empty room, where they beat her until she lost consciousness. After she awoke she still didn't yield. Six prisoners then pulled her up to a toilet and stuffed dirty rags used to clean the toilet into her mouth. They punched and kicked her until she lost consciousness. She was then pulled back to her cell. In the No. 8 Brigade, some practitioners were stripped naked in front of the criminals. Three practitioners there suffered mental breakdowns because of the cruel persecution.

In the No. 9 Brigade, 62-year-old Ms. Zhang was illegally sentenced to a two-year term. She often stood out and clarified the facts of Falun Dafa to others, and said that what the government said about Falun Dafa was full of lies. Because of that, she was put in a solitary cell for one and half years and suffered all sorts of tortures.

The head of No. 7 Brigade Zhang Xiaofang is the most vicious labor camp guard. She often cuffed practitioners to a big tree to make them suffer freezing winds or the scorching sun. She also forced practitioners to stand facing a wall for twenty-four hours regardless of whether it was windy or rainy, chilly or hot. This past May, she forced a practitioner to stand for three days and nights just because she didn't count off during roll call. The practitioner lost consciousness several times but Zhang still didn't allow others to help her or allow her to take a rest.
