Bremen: Call For the Rescue of Persecuted Family and Friends

Dec. 22, 2002

December 12th - International Human Rights Day

Bremen, Germany is a sister city of Dalian in Mainland China. Some Dafa practitioners in the area of Bremen are calling for the rescue of their persecuted friends and family in Dalian City.

Since Jiang initiated the persecution three years ago, the situation in Dalian has continued to worsen. Places such as Dalian Labor camp have escalated their torture and cruel treatment of Falun Gong practitioners. Reports have come out of the labor camp of three practitioners being tortured to death.

We call for action from governmental organizations, media, human rights organizations and all good people to help safeguard the universal principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and to help bring an end to this unprecedented disaster. We ask for the freedom of belief and for an independent investigation into the crimes committed by the Jiang regime. Most importantly, we call for the release of all Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally detained.

The following are cases of persecution experienced by German residents in China. We call for the release of all of these practitioners.
