Truth About Persecution

Dafa practitioner Ms. Zeng Qing from Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province was illegally detained four times, sent to the brainwashing class twice and sent to a forced labor for one year because she didn't give up Falun Dafa cultivation. In the labor camp she met with high pressure, coercion, lies and various kinds of brutal tortures. In early October 2002, she was again sentenced to three years of forced labor.

Vicious police officers in Changde City, Hunan Province set up an illegal prison in the Yuyuan Hotel where they illegally held 32 Dafa practitioners. The practitioners are severely tortured and every night two to five collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] take turns torturing them. Dafa practitioner Song Zhezi was determined to remain true to Dafa and she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She has been sent to the Baimalong Female Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City.

Truth and People's Hearts

Every one of our words and behaviors are affecting all the people in the world. Once I went to a barbershop with a fellow practitioner, and we clarified the truth to people waiting there. We became excited and our voices grew louder and louder. Suddenly, a person ran from the inner room and said angrily, "What are you shouting about? You are giving me a headache." The atmosphere changed drastically and the owner and other customers complained. I felt terrible and sincerely apologized. As Dafa practitioners, our words and behaviors are very important. Our attitude and compassion in addition to rationality in truth clarification can truly touch people's heart. If we are too attached to the result and talk with human attachments, the outcome will be just the opposite.

Cultivation Story

On October 4, 2002, two female Dafa practitioners went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. They unfurled a banner that read, "Falun Dafa is good." They were arrested and sent to the Tiananmen Police Department. The two practitioners gave up the attachment to the life and death and resisted all demands by the evil. The next day both practitioners appeared ill and were sent to Beijing's Police Hospital. A thin doctor from the police department viciously beat the practitioners' chest, mouth and head, and he hit their eyes with a stethoscope. The practitioners had no fear at all and solemnly warned the vicious police and the hospital staff, "You shall be responsible for all serious consequences from our illness. You tortured us and made us ill." The two Dafa practitioners broke out of the demon's den with righteous thoughts and dove back into the current of Fa-rectification.

Falun Gong Association in Indonesia wrote to the Hong Kong government regarding Article 23: During the past one hundred years, Hong Kong enjoyed freedom, democracy, and prosperity. However, now the Hong Kong government seeks to contaminate the world upon which the prosperity of Hong Kong resides, -- freedom and democracy, with Article 23, the anti-sedition law. We hope the Hong Kong government can realize the vicious intent of Jiang's government and negate the evil Article 23 in order to be truly responsible for the interest of the Hong Kong people.

Open Forum

Reference material: Take actions and guard Hong Kong. The law of Hong Kong is the law of the Hong Kong people; it's not the law of the Beijing political dictator. The reason why laws of Mainland China led to a chaotic society is because they represent only the interest of a dictator and his followers, and they completely go against the will of the people. Hong Kong has a good law base, if it bends to Beijing's power, it will only repeat what Mainland China has gone through. The people of Hong Kong do not acknowledge Article 23. As a people-elected government, the Hong Kong government has no right to found a law by itself. Unless the law is passed by a vote of all Hong Kong people, the people of Hong Kong have the right to annul it.
