Dafa practitioner Zhou Liqin (female) was a resident of Houzhan Village, Hujia Town, Heishan County, Jinzhou, Liaoning Province. In early August 2001, she visited her mother's home in Jiangjiayingzi Township in Songshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mogolia, and distributed over 300 Falun Gong truth-clarifying flyers. Over the course of one night she traveled to several villages . On August 17, one week after Zhou Liqin had returned home, officers from the Chifeng City Police Department drove all the way from Chifeng to Heishan to abduct her. Soon after, Zhou's husband went to Chifeng City's Prison to visit her. From their meeting, her husband learned that Zhou Liqin had been beaten by police and had sustained injuries all over her body. In November 2001, Dafa practitioners Wang Guiying and Wang Guihua, who had lived in the same town with Zhou Liqin, received a notice issued by the Zhalanteqi Female Prison in Inner Mogolia. Both of them had been illegally sentenced to 3 years imprisonment. But there was no information about Zhou Liqin. Zhou's husband and son went in person to Chifeng City's Prison to look for her. The guards simply told them, "We don't know." For over a year there has been no information about Zhou Liqun .

Secretary Hu (female) from Yan'anli Community, Bajing Street, Heping District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong. Four Dafa practitioners in her community were forced to leave home to avoid persecution, but Hu still walked everywhere to look for them.

Vile people, who persecute Dafa in Zhangye City, Gansu Province, have arrested many Dafa practitioners in the Zhangye area and sent them to the Forest Park Brainwashing Class for further persecution. Dafa practitioner Li Yulian (female), an employee at the Jiaohua Factory in Shandan County, was illegally arrested from home by Ren Hong from the Shandan County Police Department. Currently, Li Yulian has been illegally detained and not allowed to return home for over 3 months. Certain vile people threatened, "If you still don't accept the brainwashing, we'll send you to the labor camp."

During National Day celebrations and the 16th Party Congress, more than 10 Dafa practitioners in Li County, Hebei Province, were arrested by police.

In September 2002, Anguo City's 610 Office in Hebei Province launched a vigorous campaign to seek out and arrest Falun Dafa practitioners. They forcibly arrested over 10 Dafa practitioners (names unknown) from their homes. Two fellow practitioners Li Jianhui and Zhan Suo were illegally sentenced to 3 years of forced labor education in November. In October, Dafa practitioner Li Feng, who had been forced to leave home in exile, was arrested and sent to Xushui County in the Baoding Area. His whereabouts have been unknown ever since. In December, at least 7 Dafa practitioners (names unknown) were illegally detained for more than 2 months before being sent to Zhuozhou City to undergo forced brainwashing.

At 7:30 a.m. on November 26, while Dafa practitioner Yuan Guihua was sending her child off to school, she was forcibly arrested by Ma Baozhong and San Hai from Fuping County. Her whereabouts is currently unknown. Yuan has been arrested and subjected to brutal tortures many times. Each time she has walked out of their evil trap with righteous thoughts.

Shandong Dafa practitioners Xu Jinde and Yue Wen, a couple, were arrested on October 11 and illegally sentenced to 3 years of forced labor education. They are currently being held in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City, although Xu Jinde's actual whereabouts are unknown. Another Dafa practitioner from the Zichuan Cement Factory, whose name is unknown, was also arrested.
