Thirteen Practitioners Freely Walk Out of a Detention Center

Dec. 30, 2002

(Clearwisdom.net) On the night of October 1st, Chinese National Day, the malicious police officers in a certain county in Hebei Province came out to harass Falun Dafa practitioners. They broke into people's homes and illegally arrested almost twenty practitioners. On the days around National Day, the county government kidnapped a total of twenty-four practitioners.

The practitioners who had been abducted based all their understanding of what was happening on the Fa, encouraged one another, and sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil. They managed to completely destroy the arrangement of the old forces. Out of all the practitioners who had been kidnapped, only three were sent to labor camps. With their righteous thoughts, all the rest walked freely out of the detention center or the district police station.

Among those who were kidnapped, thirteen of us were female practitioners, and we were all kept in the county detention center. We began a hunger strike right after we were sent there. Beginning on the third day, they tried to interrogate us, but we remembered Master's words, "No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil's demands, orders, or what it instigates. If everyone does this, the environment won't be this way." ("Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful," Essentials for Further Advancement II). After some discussion, we recognized that since all practitioners were one body, illegally interrogating any one of us was the same as interrogating all of us and was persecuting practitioners and Dafa. We had to form an indestructible unity. As long as our minds did not waver, we would be able to resist all attacks, and we would be able to break the old forces' arrangements.

Soon, four policemen came to interrogate a practitioner. A few of us held onto her and each other to prevent the police from taking her away. We told the police, "We were kidnapped from our homes. We are all good people and we did not commit any crime. You are law enforcement officers, but you are committing crimes yourselves. By no means will we cooperate with you. We will not let you take away a single person." The police were not able to interrogate anyone.

On the fourth day a few police officers came, saying that they were delivering notification to two practitioners that they were going to be sent to labor camps. No one responded. We believed that the labor camp was part of the old forces' persecution. What they said did not count. Only what Master said counted. We tore up the notification papers and threw them into the wastebasket.

On the fifth day, they wanted to force feed us. We sent forth righteous thoughts together to clear the evil in other dimensions. We locked our arms together; all thirteen of us united. More than ten policemen came. They pulled and grabbed us, and we yelled, "You cannot beat us. It is against the law." After failing at first, they retreated, but came back again a short while later. We formed a circle and sent forth righteous thoughts. They were not able to get any of us no matter how hard they tried, and they were forced to give up reluctantly.

Not able to force feed us, they wanted us to move to another room, saying that it was too crowded in our room. Thirteen of us moved, with our arms interlocked, step-by-step into the other room.

On the seventh day, all thirteen of us were released. We freely walked out of the detention center.
