Two Finnish practitioners, Hannu Jarninen and Mikko Mattila, were rudely searched at a Beijing hotel where they resided. After they were illegally detained and their Dafa music tapes and books were confiscated, they were deported back to Finland on February 15.

Finnish TV Stations 1 and 3, Capital Daily and Evening News conducted detailed interviews with the two practitioners on February 15 and 16. The news agencies strongly condemned this outrageous behavior and invited a Chinese practitioner to give a detailed account of persecution against Chinese practitioners. TV1 also asked practitioners to perform a Dafa exercise demonstration for its viewers.
