[China] Practitioner's Family Member Speaks with Justice While Policemen with Guns Have No Words to Justify Themselves
A few days before the Spring Festival, a police car stopped by the home of a practitioner who had to live in exile. Several plainclothes policemen got out of the car and adjusted their guns. They acted like they were ready to go into battle with tough enemies.
The practitioner's family member happened to stand beside the door. The policemen identified themselves. At the request of the family member, the officers showed their identification and said they wanted to bring the practitioner to the police office for questioning. The family member was very angry. He (or she) said, "Why are you trying to find her? Did she violate the law? You all even bring guns here. It is the government who forces Falun Gong practitioners to appeal in Beijing. The practitioners benefit from the practice. Of course they will say Falun Gong is good. But they are detained and expelled from their workplace when they speak the truth. Aren't you intensifying the contradiction? You force practitioners to go to Beijing. You force practitioners to live in exile. Practitioners believe in government, yet they are persecuted. What is the difference between what is happening now and the Cultural Revolution? It is the government who commits the wrongdoings. This bad situation is due to the government. You should not harass us. How dare you transform practitioners? Why do you? Why do practitioners become more determined? You just want to get more bonuses after you detain practitioners. Accepting the bonuses goes against your conscience. Your intention is clear to everybody. Do not cheat us!"
The policemen were speechless and searched for words to respond. They merely answered, "We have no choice. We just carry out the orders. This is our job."
[Changchun City, Jilin Province] Brutal Torture of Dafa Practitioner Li Yanmin at the Hands of Lawless Policemen in No.1 Section of Changchun City's Police Department
On January 25, 2002, Ms. Li Yanmin, a Dafa practitioner from Changchun City, was abducted from her home and detained. On the second day, lawless policemen from Section No. 1 of Changchun City's Police Department covered Ms. Li's head, brought her to a remote building, and then tortured her for two days. They forced her to sit on tiger bench [see illustration on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html] and additionally beat and kicked her. They tortured Ms. Li Yanmin so brutally that she could not move her arms. The beating caused her to vomit, which prevented her from eating. At present, Ms. Li Yanmin is imprisoned in Changchun City's No.3 Detention Center. When a family member went to get some information about her, policemen did not reveal anything. According to the people released from the detention center, till February 1, Ms. Li Yanmei had not eaten anything for seven days. The information about her situation after February 1st is unknown.

[Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] The Hailin Police Office Unreasonably Detain A Dafa Practitioner's Family Member
In July 1999, a practitioner from Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province went to Beijing to validate Dafa, in order to let kind-hearted people learn the truth about Dafa. The liaison office police from his provincial police department in Beijing arrested him and put him into the Hailin Detention Center. On the way to the detention center the policemen brutally tortured him. They handcuffed his hands to the baggage rack on the train for more than 20 hours. In the Hailin Police Department, they forced him to sit on the "tiger bench" [Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 6 inches tall. Practitioners' knees are tightly tied onto the small bench. He has to sit straight up with his eyes looking straight ahead. His hands are tied on the back or sometimes placed on his knees. He is not allowed to turn his head, close his eyes, talk to anyone, raise his hand, or call out for the attention of the guards. He is forced to remain absolutely still at all times. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioner's lower legs or ankles to make it harder for them to tolerate this abuse. The director of the police department sent him to a detention center and ordered the wardens and prisoners to torture him with all kinds of means. He said maliciously, "[Torture him] as long as he is not beaten to death, do it until he has only his last breath left." This practitioner's hands and feet were fixed to the floor for a total of 90 days. Everyday the prisoners brutally beat him, their fists raining upon him like hail. He staunchly endured it. In the end, a warden who had a little conscience left said no one was allowed to beat him anymore and no one was allowed to rob him of his food. Many prisoners were also moved by his great forbearance and compassion, and they treated him with kindness. With his family and friends' effort, he returned home after having been illegally detained for 90 days.
He further continued to appeal in Beijing. With great compassion, he touched people's hearts and offered salvation to them. Now he is forced to live in exile. Policemen from the local department couldn't arrest him and then illegally held his brother in a detention center on the so-called accusation, "harboring criminals." Even the prisoners and wardens thought this accusation was ridiculous when they heard about it.
[Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Officials in Wuhu City's Court Unlawfully Sentence Four Practitioners to Three and Four Years of Imprisonment
Four Dafa practitioners, Chen Xiangqun, Miao Weimin, Yuan Yongge, Jiang Zhenzhen were sentenced to four years, three and half years and three years of imprisonment, respectively. The charge is "distributing and posting materials about Falun Gong."
[Anxin County, Hebei Province] Brutal Torture of Dafa Practitioners in a Brainwashing Class
Lawless officials from the County Committee, the "610 Office," Politics and Judiciary Committee and Police Department of Anxin County held a brainwashing class. From March to July 2001, several practitioners were illegally detained there. Policemen inhumanly tortured, beat and abused these practitioners who were determined to abide by "Truth, Compassion, Forbearance." Although Dafa practitioners have had to sustain all the brutal sufferings during this long-term detention, they are still conducting themselves according to Dafa. [Henan Province] Employing Brutal Tortures, Guards in a Female Labor Camp Try to Force Practitioners to Write the "Guarantee Statements"
In late December 2001, guards in Henan Province's Female Labor Camp illegally tortured practitioners who refused to give up Dafa. They tied practitioners' hands behind their backs and hung them up. In this excruciating position, practitioners were pressured to sign a statement promising "no banners and no appeals in Beijing." They tortured practitioners individually and wouldn't let them down if they refused to write the statements.
Torturing Dafa practitioners in this way precisely manifested "Hypocrisy, Evil, Violence," the nature of the Chinese ruling dictator and his minions and their extreme paranoia.
[Beijing] Forced Labor Camp Goes From Brutal Beating to "Verbal Brainwashing"
In a 2001 Official Government Appraisal, many policemen considered Liu Jinbiao, a group chief of Beijing Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp who was in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, as an "unqualified policeman." At present, he was demoted from the position of group chief. The criminal deeds of Liu Jibiao against Dafa practitioners were posted on Clearwisdom Net.
The Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp has gone from brutal beatings to verbal brainwashing. The collaborators [former practitioners who gave into pressure and began persecuting faithful practitioners] took turns to brainwash every practitioner. Some people were deceived by this form of brainwashing.
[Qiongshan City, Hainan Province] Kidnapping of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Sun Tingbo and His Wife
At 12 a.m. on February 12, 2002, Chinese New Year's Day, officers from the Tanwen Police Office, Lingshan Police Office and also a individual named Wang Peijie, director of the Politics Security Section of Qiongshan City's Police Department, kidnapped practitioner Mr. Sun Tingbo and his wife. Following that, Mr. Sun Tingbo was illegally detained at Qiongshan City's Detention Center. He has been on a hunger strike since then.
[Yantai City, Shandong Province] Policemen in Yantai City's "610 Office" and from the Zhifu District Relentlessly Arrest Dafa Practitioners
Policemen from Yantai City's "610 Office" and Zhifu District police office relentlessly persecuted practitioners. They repeatedly extorted money from practitioners, arrested and then inhumanely tortured practitioners who distributed Dafa truth-clarifying materials. Without due process of law, policemen broke into and ransacked practitioners' homes, confiscated electronic items belonging to family members of these practitioners and also removed other expensive personal items and motorcycles. Once time, they dispatched dozens of policemen in four or five police cars to arrest one practitioner. They took people's money as a means of abusing the kind-hearted practitioners. They even shocked the vulnerable parts of practitioners' bodies with electric batons, hung practitioners in the air, withholding food from them, deprived them of their sleep and their right to use the restroom. Their methods of abuse and mistreatment were very malicious.
Lawless policemen beat Mr. Wu Haiyou, a practitioner from Zhifu District of Yantai City, while moving him from the fourth floor to the first floor. Eventually, Mr. Wu Haiyou was beaten to death. It was too miserable to see. Local people said, "What kind of policemen are they? They are ruffians indeed."
Policemen in Zhifu District arrested a busload of Dafa practitioners and then sent them to Wang Village for forced labor. If the labor camp refused to receive practitioners because it was full, policemen in Yantai City would bribe the officials who worked in the forced labor camp. As those practitioners whose legs were beaten to the point of sustaining fractures were not qualified to be put into the labor camp, policemen in Yantai City bribed the officials in that labor camp to put those practitioners into forced labor anyway.
In November and December of 2001, forty practitioners were arrested in Yantai City. Three Dafa truth-clarifying material centers were destroyed, which caused a big loss of truth-clarifying materials, equipment and cash. One practitioner from one truth-clarifying materials center did not diligently study the Fa. Fellow practitioners reminded him of paying attention to Fa study and finding problems within himself. He did not listen. Unfortunately, in November he was arrested and gave away the names of a lot of practitioners, which caused a big loss to Dafa work. These are those 40 practitioners were successively sent to Wang Village for forced labor.
After brainwashed in Wang Village's brainwashing class held in Zibo City, the collaborators Ms. Wang Guihong and Ms. Gao from Yantai City took the initiative to work for the criminal "610 Office." In October they persecuted practitioners at the brainwashing center in Zhifu District. They helped the evil commit crimes against Dafa.
[Luchuan County, Guangxi Province] Failing to Extort Money, the Lawless Policemen from the Political and Security Section Entrap and Persecute a Dafa Practitioner
In the year 2000, a practitioner from Luchuan City, Guangxi Province distributed some truth-clarifying materials and was thus arrested afterwards. When the practitioner clarified the truth to the government officials, policeman Fan Chidong, the chief of the Political and Security Section and He Leiguang, the assistant chief, pushed the practitioner's head to the ground. Fan Chidong also forcefully kicked the practitioner's legs. During the time before the practitioner was bailed out due to his physical condition, Fan Chidong repeatedly forced the practitioner to admit that he had committed "crimes" and threatened that if the practitioner didn't admit it, he would not give back the pager, motorcycle driver's license, leather belt, keys and other items he illegally confiscated before.
On a night in January 2001, He Leiguang threatened the family members of the practitioner, "The Spring Festival is drawing near; you had better ask him to take back his belongings tomorrow. It's difficult for us to keep it for him." The next morning, after the practitioner got his belongings and signed his name, Fan Chidong handcuffed the practitioner's hands behind his back and sentenced him to two years and six months of forced labor. The practitioner protested loudly, "What crime did I commit?" Fan Chidong kept saying, "You know what you did." In front of many officials from the County Police Department, Fan Chidong shamelessly claimed, "It is just because you didn't give me money; otherwise I wouldn't send you to labor camp." Even while still being tied and shackled, this practitioner shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is good," "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa," "Good will be rewarded with good and evil will be met with evil." Qiu Shuhua, director of the Police Department, Fan Chidong and some other wicked people verbally abused this Dafa practitioner.
[Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Recorded Crimes of Vile Policemen Han Ming and Huang Qihua from the An'ning Police Department
Han Ming, male, about 47 years old, used to be an ordinary policeman in the An'ning Police Department. In 1999, after figuring out his supervisors' intention of persecuting Falun Gong, he hurriedly found a copy of Zhuan Falun and read a little. He then went to his supervisor and bragged that he was very familiar with Falun Gong and would like to help out. Later, he fulfilled his dream of becoming the leader of the Political and Security Team.
Since then, Han Ming has committed a series of vile crimes. Dafa practitioner Yao Baorong was tortured to death, and Dr. Guo Shoujun from Northeast Teaching University was sentenced to imprisonment under his jurisdiction. Mr. He Yingguo and other over ten practitioners were sentenced to forced labor by him. Mr. He's wife was dismissed from her work unit. She has a two-month-old baby girl. Han Ming arrested, beat, fined and threatened numerous practitioners, forced many practitioners to live in exile and ransacked their homes.
Huang Qihua, male, about 46 years old, is director of Liujiabao substation of the An'ning Police Department. This person has been closely following the ruling Chinese human rights scoundrel to persecute Dafa practitioners. He often claims, "I don't care whether the central government is right or wrong. If you Falun Gong practitioners make trouble in my territory, I will dispatch my gangster brothers to wipe you from the face of the earth." A labor camp refused three times to accept a practitioner due to her physical condition; however, Huang Qihua managed to send her in through personal relations.
[Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Collaborators Who Aid Vile Persons to Do Evil Are Met with Retribution
Wang Suxia, female, 57 years old, lives in the Qingfeng residential area, Yongle Administration Office, Tiexi District of Anshan City. In March 2001 she defrauded a Dafa practitioner out of 10,500 Yuan and has now enlightened along an evil path. Now she always helps the lawless policemen to arrest Dafa practitioners. In July 2001, her son fractured his arm. Once a person does evil, the whole family suffers.
