(Clearwisdom.net) After the City of Fontenay-sous-Bois proclaimed Falun Dafa Day on March 2, 2002, several young Falun Dafa practitioners started a four-day 100-kilometer-long peace walk around Greater Paris from Fontenay-sous-Bois. The walk ended at the Chinese Embassy in Paris and passed 29 cities and towns in the Greater Paris District. Over 10,000 truth-clarifying flyers were distributed. The walkers received warm welcome and support from the peaceful and righteous people of Paris. In Drancy City, the deputy mayor invited the practitioners to his office and talked for over an hour to learn what Falun Gong is and why the Jiang regime wants to persecute it. He highly praised and supported the sprit of the practitioners in walking for justice and peace. He said that he would do his best to help if needed.
