Zhang Cuiying Clarifies the Truth at an Art Exhibition in Switzerland

April 2, 2002 |   By Zhang Cuiying in Zurich

(Clearwisdom.net) In order to urgently rescue persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in Changchun and in China and to let more people know the truth of Falun Gong, the Swiss practitioners displayed more than 50 of my traditional Chinese paintings in east and west Zurich, the biggest City in Switzerland.

The painting exhibition in west Zurich was held in a gallery in Zurich's cultural district. A lot of tourists and local residents came to the exhibition one after another. When they learned of Jiang's evil, when they heard that a Falun Gong artist was brutally persecuted, and when they heard the truth of Falun Gong, they could not imagine that any civilized leader would do such an inhuman thing.

After one woman understood the truth of Falun Gong, she wanted to learn the exercises. Just before she left, she said: "I did not expect that I would have such a wonderful evening. It's as if someone has directed me to come here. I will remember this day forever."

After reporters obtained the news, they arrived at the painting exhibition to interview me. They inquired in detail about the whole experience of my being persecuted. In the beginning, they did not understand why I ran the risk of going to China again and again. I then told them that if I had not learned Falun Gong, perhaps I would be paralyzed in bed today. Falun Gong has given me a second life and the magnificence of art. In order to clarify the truth, promote justice, and protect human rights, I had to go to China and put forward my righteous request to the Chinese government to immediately stop persecuting Falun Gong. Just like today, the righteous media around the world promptly exposed the persecution of Changchun practitioners, which powerfully stopped the evil. If there had not been your media's prompt positive report, Jiang would have killed even more kindhearted Falun Gong practitioners.

Finally, they held up their thumbs in approval and said: "We finally understand why you ran risks to go to China and to travel around the world to hold painting exhibitions again and again." They said they would write one powerful report, one which, though not long, would scatter in all directions like a drop of water upon hitting the ground.
